This might be dangerous for both heavyweights we all know that both boxer is a great boxer but their age is not for fighting anymore also they chose to have this exhibition fight without protective gears which may result to permanent or serious damage.

I haven't seen any latest video from him.

I searched on YouTube but most of the videos uploaded from his matches were years ago or a year ago has passed. There's no recent one unlike with Mike, he has recent videos of his training.

I'm also waiting for someone to upload it for us.

The one that I shared seems to be the latest, have you watched the youtube video I shared?

Here again, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5mu3vLhafq4... This was updated last July 23, 2020, only less than a month.
Thank you!

Didn't see this video yet and it's a good comparison how they train even just for a short clip. I see that Roy is also in condition on this video but I'm more impressed with Mike's training. This is getting excited.

If you are not a fan of Mike, you should be happy as you can bet against him. However, it's just a clip, not the entire actual training so we can't really tell who trains hard between the two, but one thing I know is they have the obligation to entertain the fans as for sure we are going to pay for the PPV to watch it.
it is not the training now that is important but who stays fit through the years when they retired in boxing.

Tyson is one best fighter of all time but what happens to him after the retirement?did he stays having training or stopped and just back now because of this fight?

but i am still a Mike Tyson Fan so will bet on His side but small amount only.

I don't like to question their fitness because when they accepted this fight, I know they are still fit to fight. Looking at their physical appearance, obviously you can tell that they are fit to fight, so for me, training is the most important as that would give them good stamina during the fight, considering this fight needs a KO to win.

It will just depend on both boxers on how they do take this fight seriously.

They can do what they want, but i hope they won't rig the fight and made us fool. Taking it seriously or for fun, it doesn't matter as long as they will do their job in the ring, and since KO is expected to see a winner, this should be brawl, hopefully.
I don't think this kind of sport can be used as a joke because I saw them when they were in the ring fighting for strength and bleeding which in my opinion if it was a joke it wouldn't be that bad.

Both fighters are old enough and being KO in a boxing match at there age might be fatal. I believe the referee will gonna early call a TKO if ever one of them showing too much fatigue. But we should always consider that this fight is just an exhibition much so I believe no one will gonna give 100% full power punch to his opponent except if both players heated up.

Most probably a closed fight on this match because this is just a show. But the edge will goes to Mike Tyson.
If one of them being KO, I can not imagine the impact that they will get because that can end their carrier forever in the boxing, and that is not worth both of them. TKO will be better for both fighters because they don't have to get knockdown and get serious injuries. If that is an exhibition, then I think both fighters don't have to get KO because that is a matter for them. If both fighters heated up, I think they will use full power punch to make the opponent KO.

Well hope both understands that they are now 50+ and any such things could harm them for the rest of their life and do not want to take such extreme step for this fight. It should eb more of a fun and with some spirit of the game they play with and do not get injured or make other injured. So, TKO is what I will also prefer over KO.

Is age 50+ really that old for you to be so brittle and minding on getting such severe injury? For those kind of body even though they've aged they wont really be that soft to mind about their safety.

Since they do deal up with the fight then they always prepared nor ready on what are the possible situation they might end up into.It wouldnt matter if we would see TKO or KO.

It will just depend on both boxers on how they do take this fight seriously.

They know the rules and they know their age.
Both are boxers, they have a healthy lifestyle, so even at 50+, they still feel young.

I'm at 30. I won't even ask to fight a 50 years old with boxing experience. I know you are worried mate, but let them do their job, they are paid for it, they accept it despite knowing the risk.

NO.. if it's for fun, they should televise it for free, no PPV so no expenses on our side.

Yes, they were legends and this match is against boxer vs. boxer. A showmatch but there's something heavy punches that will be thrown for sure.

That would be coming from Tyson  Grin

Look how heavy this punch is.

Age will definitely have some effect in this match; even though Tyson was known with  his heavy punches, Roy Jones is a perfect match to Tyson. Tyson opponent(Roy Jones) has a good record, and I won't be disappointed see the table turn against the favourite Tyson. Am going with Roy Jones Jr because of these records: https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/774820

Nice record for Roy Roy Jones Junior, he has a high KO rate and that is good as KO is needed in order for a fighter to win, just in this match.
People like Tyson because he was popular than Jones, but that's alright mate, when betting you have to consider a lot of things, not only the popularity of a boxer.

Basing of on the video where it do only shows 1 sparring moment compared to Tyson numbers of sparring times and training but eventually we wouldnt know if he had been doing some training
behind the camera and doesnt really give out a show-off on how he do train or just decide to make it more private rather than on similar on what Mike had been showing.
Mike Tyson is great but we shouldnt take Roy jones too lightly since we know on what hes capable of.

He have his own legacy and he's last fight is much previous than Tyson, He can take this fight on his way, there's always
tactics between camps and Jones training might be doing behind with more plans from how to limit Tyson's attacks. We
will witness everything once the first sound of the bell rings.

I have seen his trainings and it's still a heavy blow.

Damn, I can't think of how heavy I'll be with that age but the guy doesn't seem to age all of these years. The favor is with Mike but we can't ignore Roy.

Like everyone does, most are with Mike.

[snip]
That slowmo video is sick, that was a classic move of Mike Tyson and he can knock out his opponent even bigger than him.

I found one video online, but this was only posted last month.
MIKE TYSON VS. ROY JONES JR. SIDE-BY-SIDE COMEBACK TRAINING COMPARISON - POWER & SPEED AGES 54 & 51

Mike Tyson is always a beast whenever he's the ring and that was his spirit right from his first ring fight which he knocks down his opponent with a single punch.

I have also noticed that Roy Jones Jr. has not posted videos of his training for his fight with Mike Tyson. I found this most recent video, he is training with a low profile to create expectations and surprise. While Tyson is very striking he is quite a show and with a powerful physical condition.

Roy Jones Jr. - Training
The fight has nothing to do with Roy Jones Jr showing is training video or not because Roy Jones himself said it through a video call with Fat Joe that Tyson understands boxing pretty well and he knows what he wants whenever the ring.

Dump it!!!
Does anyone know if this match will be played of 12 September or  Mike Tyson-Roy Jones Exhibition Bout Reportedly Postponed. What is the latest update on it ? It will be disappointing if this match does not held on proposed time.

These two are already too old to be postponing the fight.

Every month when you're 50+ is like a year of wear and tear for a younger fighter.

We don't want to see two old men fighting now do we!

If we are going to base on both training videos of Mike and Roy Jones Jr. we can see the difference in comes with power of punches and agility of Mike Tyson it looks like he's on his prime days but since Roy Jones Jr. have a limited training videos we might not know if he is doing some special training that would surprise us all, the fight date was moved as well I can't wait to see these legionaries fighting on the ring again.
