Do you think this fight is going to push through despite GBP not signing off of this fight?
who knows, but if he is in contract with Golden Boy Promotions, wouldn't he possibly get in legal trouble if he continues with this fight even if it is just an exhibition match if he ignores his promoter?

also, this might not be related to the topic but I remember reading that Ryan Garcia is not on good terms with his Promoter.

The fight is still 50/50 to happen, but I hope it happens. Ryan's long lay off will have a repercussion on his performance and with this exhibition fight, he can get out of that ring rust. Its dangerous for a boxer to have a ring rust like what happened to Danny Garcia, and besides, we want Anpo to suffer because of what he did to Pacquiao.
I believe this is going to be an easy fight for Ryan; he is much quicker, has more power, and has more skill than Anpo; he knows boxing, while Anpo will look naive as a boxer.

Yeah, but I'm more concern of his contract with GBP promotions as obviously they didn't allow this for Ryan, to fight oversees and in a exhibition match. How can he not tell GBP about it? Perhaps they will not allow it, so that is his concern, but if he is under contract, then the could be sued by Oscar again.

But if this fight pushes, Ryan might have ring rust in the first couple of rounds, but once he got the feel of it, Anpo could sleep in the canvass. So let's see, maybe they can settle this things, him and Oscar and obviously Oscar wanted to have a piece of what Ryan is getting from the Japanese.

I believe that's one of his goals, to assess where he is now inside the ring. It will be like his preparation before the big fight.
Most boxing fans are predicting that Garcia will win on this exhibition match in a KO. Don't know if bookies will add this to their betting list.

Ryan gonna toy Anpo in the ring with his left. He better know the distance to where he should be and just wait for Ryan to come and not pressure Ryan instead or he be greeted with left like Haney.

This is an exhibition however but almost like the main event in the Rizin boxing. Just want the people to watch and stick around for the whole event waiting for Ryan's fight.  Grin

That’s a very realistic prediction. I don’t underestimate Anpo, but Ryan is the real boxer here, a former champion who only lost his title because of a cheating scandal. I don’t think Ryan needs any enhancement drugs for this fight; Cheesy Cheesy ... he could probably beat Anpo even without intense training. And since this is just an exhibition match, his chances of winning are even higher.

This fight is still in Japan, right? I have a feeling that even the locals might root for Garcia over their own boxer.

I think Ryan wants to avenge his idol, Manny Pacquiao, There's a lot of news circulating that the fight will not push because of Oscar's objection, but I believe it will because he cannot say no to Ryan, and of course he doesn't want Ryan to have a ring rust, and if Ryan wins here, it will also be credited to The Golden Boy Promotion. Even if this is an exhibition match.
Ryan has a complete edge here; Anpo can be considered an amateur in boxing; his movement will be limited, and Ryan could knock him out with his hook, so its a good tune-up fight for Ryan, and Oscar likes the idea so he can use this fight for future matchups.

After watching the Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson fight, here we go again with another exhibition match. This one looks exciting too, even though it’s a real boxer versus a kickboxer. Still, it’s intriguing, especially since Anpo showed some serious power last time when he tried to knock out Manny Pacquiao. Now, the question is, can he pull off something similar against Ryan Garcia?

Both fighters only have a little over a month to train, but honestly, that should be enough since it’s just an exhibition. Let’s see how this one plays out, it could be an entertaining clash of styles,. ( rooting for Garcia here)  Cheesy

idol. And if there’s no script involved, we might even witness a KO.
Of course it's a scripted match from all indications anyone attentive can notice it, it's gonna be nothing more than an entertainment fight which the tendency is that a clear winner may not emerge. I don't expect to see a knockout (KO) either. May be it's part of why GBP are said not to be a party to the fight.

I hope so...

I had a feeling this would happen, especially since Ryan was there during that fight (exhibition fight with Manny). It makes sense they’d start talking about a possible exhibition match afterward. Pacman didn’t look sharp, he looked his age, retired, and a bit rusty. So yeah, Ryan might be seeing this as a chance to avenge his idol. And if there’s no script involved, we might even witness a KO.

They’re around the same height and age I guess, so I expect this to be a very entertaining fight. As for the betting odds, I haven’t seen them yet, but I’m sure Ryan will be the heavy favorite here... This could also be a good preparation for Ryan so he'll not be rusty once he comes back for a professional fight, of course after serving the suspention.

Ryan Garcia will make his comeback, but it will be in an exhibition match against Rukiya Anpo. Anpo is known to have fought Manny Pacquiao last July of this year. And we all know that Ryan Garcia has a one year ban because of his supposedly taking Peds during his fight with Devin Haney.

So he jumps on the plan and go to Japan and have this fight at the end of this year.

Although there are reports that his boxing promoter, Golden Boy Promotions says that they didn't give the blessings of this fight as Ryan is under their contract.

Here is the official kick off presser of this fight: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=chCKjLNSnkY
