The Terminators run much better on 240v than 110v with the stock power supplies - haven't had any issues at 240v, but have at 110v - so good move in choosing that power.

As far rack mounting, there case doesn't support it as it's designed - I know, it sure looks like a 4U case, but it's not, there are no screw holes for the ears on it.  You could probably jury-rig something, but depending on what gen box you get, they can run pretty hot, so I wouldn't be all that keen about having them right on top of eachother.  Another thing is that there's about a million screws on the bottom, so I suspect it wouldn't fit nicely in a 4U even if the front face plate was close.  And it's also a surprisingly heavy box, especially the 110's.  If you're dead-set on throwing it in a rack, I'd recommend just getting shelves (that go from the rails in the front to the rails in the back), and put it on that.  Or run them upright, although I probably wouldn't do that as the heat has a tendency to just rise up and sit in the Raspberry Pi area, which is really poorly vented.

Thanks MarkAz,
I upgraded my power to 240vac to lower the current on the lines as my S4 power supplies were hitting the limit at 15 amps and some would burn out.
So just wanted to be sure these scrypt miners would accept the 240vac as I can't go back to 120vac.

Does anyone know if these are rack mountable ?

does this scrypt miner accept 240vac ?
does anyone have evidence what the powerusage  at the wall is ?

I bought two of theirs - they are different from the other Terminators that I have, but I think it's because all the rest are the 'older' style, and theirs in the newer.  With either of them, they work fine at 110v or 240v (with the 3 different PSU's I've seen from Innosilicon), and they've always been autoswitching, so you don't need to do anything special.  I have a WattsUp power meter on one of the A2's I got from Zoomhash, and clocked at 1200Mhz it's consuming just a bit under 1100w, so pretty much exactly what it's supposed to.  One caveat, I replaced the PSU on this one with a EVGA 1300P2, which is more efficient, so you could be looking at ~50w more, depending on what the old PSU was rated.  The base system overhead (not hashing, but with fans), is around 200w for the 88's and around 300w for the 110's (2 extra fans making the bulk of the difference).

Either way, happy with Terminator and Zoomhash's service (shipped fast, have been responsive to questions, etc).  Only real complaint is the PSU that the Terminators come with, which is basically junk, but Zoomhash has nothing to do with that.  I follow the same logic as most other A2 owners, run on stock until it dies, then replace with a quality PSU - the miner definitely deserves it.

Hope that helps.

I was VERY underwhelmed by zoomhash when one of the power supply "bricks" they were selling for the Gridseed Blades died after 2-3 months - and the warenttee turned out to be ONE BLOODY MONTH.

 Flipping joke.

Bloody thing never saw more than about 40% of it's RATED load in that time, just to add insult to injury I've got a couple of 7A bricks (the ZH ones were 10A rated) that have NOT died after a year or so of usage.

Not blaming Zoomhash so much for their 10A brick dying, as for the CRAP warrenttee and NO STATEMENT OF WHAT THE JOKE OF A WARRENTTEE WAS on their website.

If you can prove you or your friends hardship (It seems like Amorejazz and NTDSM are the same person). I would gladly donate my personal money as a one time offer to alleviate the supposed suffering. This offer was open since last year.

Otherwise you just look like a scammer looking to exploit us and hold us ransom with your copypasta.

Personally I wouldn't give them a thing unless they agree to STFU.

I agree. WTFs up with all the random copy past of fluctuating payouts. None of my miners have ever paid the same amount on any day.

Zoomhash have always been very good to deal with. They have always taken care of any issue when the arise and are always very vary fair. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them.

i and my friend have only posted truth and with proof, last year it was also confirmed by many from this forum!
you could not feel held for ransom unless you know within yourself that this is all true,
you offer a solution then never answer on what you need for requirements to give proof.
you offer then run and do not return for long periods.
as you return you never reply to my question of how to avail of your offer and resolve this  issue!
everyone reading this can see by the time stamp of the ad posted of day and hour and when  and if ever you reply.as even when you do reply it is always the same thing
saying that you offered and the offer is still valid but your  not making any possible because you will not accept anything i can accommodate you.

you are not the victim

I am your victim

of your bad ways.

what is needed to fulfill your requirements to sever contacts and each of us venture for our own paths?
all can see that i have asked the same thing  s e v e r a l  times  and you wont answer me with a feasible  requirement!!!

Just provide proof of your hardships. Also, I do not think asking them to "STFU" is a good idea as this is good publicity for us.

i think i understand....
Zoomsumbag Michael is stating to sound  pretty bad...
over and over again she has very nicely asked what you need  for this proof...
and your sounding like a person that is gloating on her hardship
that is also the reason why your making it so long and drawn out!
you are a really sick bastard if your enjoying this moment of her trying to invent and understand what you want her to say!
exploiting a hardship case is being a really sick and morbid human!
and saying to someone in her position to just provide proof of her hardship is the perfect example of what i am saying

I asked for a copy of government issued id that i never received.

ntsdm, I think you missed my point - about them being 'new' is just that all the manufacturers say this, but they certainly are not - Innosilicon could have shipped them these boxes and ZoomHash could have never opened them.  I have yet to purchase a single miner from ANYONE that was actually unused.  I routinely buy 'new' S5's from Bitmain and they are without a doubt used by them.  I think in this industry, 'new' means never sold, not never used - they all mine with the things until someone buys them, and they'd be crazy to do otherwise.  The one upside of this is that I've never received a dead miner, because they've all effectively been 'burned in'.

I also don't think they made a ton of money on the shipping either, 3 day shipping on something that weighs as much as the A2 does isn't going to be cheap.  I'm just saying I wasn't in that big a hurry, so would have preferred to wait longer and pay less - but I think I'm in the minority for the mining community at large.

I personally wouldn't hesitate to buy from ZoomHash again.

In what is probably a fruitless attempt to pull this thread back on topic - I just purchased two A2 Mega's from ZoomHash and they arrived today and are hashing away happily as we speak.  While they definitely weren't new (not that anything in miner land ever really is), they were in good shape.  Ordered on the 19th (night) shipped on the 20th, arrived here the 23rd.  My only real complaint would be how much shipping was ($279.98 for two) - I would have preferred a cheaper/slower shipping method, but either way the price was low enough I didn't care that much, and these things do weigh a ton.

Setting them up was a bit of an adventure for me, because I haven't used one before - and I ended up having to hook up an HDMI monitor and keyboard (the login is username: pi  password: innosilicon) and switching it over to dhcp from the idiotic static addressing it seems to only support via the web interface.  But once that was done, just pasted in my pool info and about 3 F5 refreshes later the workers were listed.

All you're doing now is thread crapping.  Either post some actual evidence or STFU already.  A copypasta of clevermining and rants in all caps isn't evidence.

Here's how you'd post actual evidence:

June 31st Clevermining paid out 0.xxx per MH, ZH earned 0.yyy per MH, took 0.nnn for maintenance, and should have paid 0.zzz, but instead paid 0.rrr.  And so on and so on for the days you're disputing.  I can't read any of this badly formatted garbage you keep posting.

i tried several times and its not coming here daily and if they are such high level intelligent people then why is it so hard for them to do math? i got a response of him here because he was trying to find business and this is not good for his business as it shows what ways they behold!  this is the only way he will reply even if very late! he has no scruples or honesty and after several emails and several threads in the correct place still nothing ! at least here i hope other people see this and understand that who they are having dealings of business with is a very bad person and is not to be trusted.

Emma

You need daily messages from them?

Would you like them to come wash your clothes as well?

Seriously. There is a section for this. This isn't it.

Dear michael Zoomhash,
this is the exact reason why much of issue is coming, lack of communications!
I see ignoring and not replying to customers is your way of doing business although i do not agree on this kind of practice.
Bad communications with customers is a simple way of frustrating and enticing them to think bad things. and with only words that happen on rare occasion  and no actions to follow up with.

Customer Service is a world wide factor in any establishment and i have know better of great customer service of many companies that care of a customer  even on personal level situation.

Emma

Hi Emma, if you can pm your BTC address, we will send you the bitcoin while we investigate your issue. If you are right you can keep the BTC, if you are wrong please return the BTC. Thank you.

thank you

Please i also request the feasible requirements to avail you proposal..Please share me this info.

as i said repeatedly and several times,,,,,,,, no communications!!!!
they wont reply to email and they are simply avoiding every issue!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the only communication i receive is these

If I read correctly, He sent you the BTC and your mining is going again, right?

to answer your question , yes as you can see even for yourself the coins are in my wallet.
But as you also read I cannot spend them until he says I may. As he is still working with his engineers and technicians to understand if I was correct or not. If I was correct I shall keep them and if not I am to send them back.
and as im sure you read, i have also been asking several times what are the needed requirements that he offered as a solution and to sever contract

Emma

Maybe they are still working through it?

Rather than jumping on here daily and bitching about it why don't you give them a little time to work on it?

Why don't you make a thread in the correct damn place for it?
