It's amazing that a country in south america already has so many stores accepting bitcoin, Europe could learn from them!
This thread is pretty old so I can only imagine that Brazil must have developed even more stores that accept bitcoin, would love to visit at least once that's for sure.

Yes its a very good sign that Brazil is doing this and that they are having so much stores, I hope that it will also boost their economy in the time..

As far as i Know there is no country in the world which is so advanced towards therir bitcoin infrastructure. It seems to me that they in brazil do understand what bitcoin is and what i can do. very good to say a country is taking the lead.

Brazil is developing quite nicely in a bitcoin perspective I imagine how many other south american countries are into bitcoin.
I wish Europe would have the same amount or even more shops but from how it looks like in my country there's almost no shops so thats a bummer.

When I was in Brazil I could notice the presence of the bitcoin lots of stickers on windows. Nowadays in 2016 I think they gained even more shops it's crazy that in south america it's bigger than in alot of eu countries. It should be big in EU too.

It's a remarkable thing, and I'm very glad that it can provide an excellent effect for growth of the bitcoin. I hope that Brazil can contribute both to the country and also all bitcoin can do or follow the example of Brazil so that growth can larger bitcoin

150 stores is a very big amount and I think we had never dreamed of so much real life stores that are accepting it in such a time period.
I think this is also a good sign for the future of the bitcoin.

Nice to hear that, bitcoin is spreading all over the world. I wish I could also use bitcoin in my country  as payment method.but unfortunately in my country almost 99% people didn't hear bitcoin.Anyway, hoping bitcoin will grow up fastly like this and one day I.will be able to use bitcoin in my country easily.

Yeah over here it's still weak too for the bitcoin market I don't see many shops around yet with the bitcoin sticker just a few here and there.
This thread was from quite a while ago so I imagine the growth went even further. I wish we would see more of this news within europe aswell.

We grow from 30 to 150 in 6 months Smiley
That's a really good growth. Currently There're 29 "businesses" who accept bitcoin in Turkey (I think there're more but we may not be able to track them) Some of them are listed on coinmap.org
(Turkish List is here: http://coin-turk.com/turkiyede-bitcoin-kabul-eden-yerler/ )

I hope there'll be such jump in Turkey too.

First we need to build our coalition, then make pressure to government. Bitcoin has no where in Turkish law, they can't explain its situation too.

Brazil has a law for Bitcoin? How do stores keep their Bitcoin and how do they pay taxes?
How can they have so many stores if there are so many people in that country who are really poor i dont undrstand how that is possible i think they have to focus on something else than money.

Since Brazil is poor country maybe Bitcoin is one of the ways that people there could make their lives easier and help them to get into better economic status. But I don't think that usingw Bitcoin has support in banks and governement.
Yeah I think bitcoin being more developed into brazil might really help their economy. Or maybe not though since brazil is one of the most corrupted countries at the moment.
But we have to keep high hopes, I bet they added even more shops nowadays.

You must be right and I am also wondering with the number of stores in Brazil, as I do not have that many options in my country to shop with bitcoins. Moreover, I do not bother about that bitcoin accepting merchants as I am holding bitcoin debit card. Still, it would be nice to pay direct bitcoin payments to merchants as it could save a lot of conversion charges.
