Avenatti respects the legal system unlike others.

Why are you defending this person?  Huh Just because this lawyer represented someone who could bring up a sexual scandal against Trump? (and later Kavanaugh?) Quite frankly, I don't care what the president does sexually, if it is between two consenting parties. I guess the hush money is of some concern, but Stormy broke the agreement so she could obviously cash in for more. I really don't care for this guy. If he runs for president, I won't vote for him. I'll vote for a libertarian candidate before checking a box by this fool's name.  Angry At least the libertarians have it about half right.

I'm not defending this individual. I'm saying that this individual is calling for an investigation into the matter. I'm supporting said investigation as it's part of the normal legal system.

I don't understand individuals are having issues understanding that.

A suspect can deny gravity if they want, they are free to, that doesn't make gravity go away or change. Also denying charges is not equivalent to rejecting the entire judicial process. Also, weren't you people fond of saying over and over again "this is not a criminal investigation, it is a job interview?" So which is it?

The kettle calling the pot black right there.

Weren't you one of the people the enjoy sucking trump's cock? Cause I'm pretty sure you do that in every thread regardless of the topic.

Yeah, how dare people defend themselves right? What do they think this is America? The legitimate thing to do when some one accuses you is to lay down and die while the world executes your character.

Ahaha, funny you can't read an argument. An individual has the right to deny an allegation. They don't have a right to deny the entire justice process because they're wrongfully accused.

I know this shit's complicated, but law and justice and all, but I figured you'd understand by now. But nah, you're too busy misinterpreting the arguments to make yourself feel better about everything Roll Eyes

It is strange to see someone like you to advocate to wait for the facts to come out. I could have sworn that you used to be strongly against that.

Nah, I was strongly against individuals denying any wrongdoing while also criticizing the investigation into them.

"Nothing to hide, nothing to fear" sort of logic there.

But there's been so many false "facts" thrown around so far due to media reporting on this investigation (story changed twice now), I'm pretty sure no one has a clue what's actually going on.

Avenatti repeatedly denied doing this...

I know you have problems reading... but didn't know you had issues with logical operators too.

I've gone ahead and bolded the part you missed. If you want, I can make this size 50 font and red too for your blind eyes.

"First Mueller and now me," Avenatti tweeted. "When we are fully exonerated I am coming for you Jacob Wohl aka Surefire."

Wohl, a supporter of President Donald Trump, was recently implicated in a convoluted scheme to falsely accuse special counsel Robert Mueller of sexual misconduct.

The plan, which has been referred to the FBI for investigation, had called for Wohl to bring forward women with misconduct allegations against Mueller. The allegations were supposedly uncovered through an investigation outfit called Surefire Intelligence.

After Avenatti was arrested on Wednesday, Surefire retweeted a report about the case with an additional comment: "Surefire Intelligence strikes again."

Avenatti was taken into custody by Los Angeles police on Wednesday, in connection to an alleged act of felony domestic violence.

Daniels issued a statement backing Avenatti, but said she'd look for a new lawyer if the allegations proved to be true.

"These are serious and obviously very troubling allegations, but right now that is all they are: allegations," according to her statement.

"We should all reserve judgment until the investigation — an investigation Michael has said he welcomes — is complete, and that's what I'm going to do. But of course I do not condone violence against women and if these allegations prove true I will be seeking new representation."

The difference between an innocent and guilty individual is bolded. When you're innocent, you know the investigation will come up short. Unlike Trump and the other dirty individuals who work to stall and criticize the investigations into their corrupt past.

Gonna be funny when Jacob Wohl sits behind bars for conspiracy to make fraudulent charges.

That knife cuts both ways, dude.

At least Avenatti doesn't sit behind a fake company using his mother's cell phone as the primary contact. Rofl.

Does he even believe in giving people the benefit of the doubt?

His ex-wife has someone of a conflict of interest as if he cannot earn a living, she wont receive (as much) alimony. It also appears he is (has) going through a pretty nasty divorce, and if some of what has been said about what he did is true, I don't think it would be entirely unreasonable for a situation to escalate into DV.

No, certainly not when it's in his political interests and aspirations to deny someone their due process.  None the less, he's entitled to the same protections under the same law he would deny others.

I believe it is actually Los Angelos.

I believe you're correct, LA not Los Vegas.

Lets give him the benefit of the doubt, it's only alleged.  And his ex wive has come out in his defense, for what that's worth...

However, the Las Vegas sheriff's office has confirmed he's in the jail house now.

According to a report that was first reported by tmz, Michael Avenatti aka the Creepy Porn Lawyer has been arrested on Domestic Violence charges.

According to TMZ's sources, Avenatti was involved in possibly two Domestic Violence incidents, one yesterday, and one today.

Avenatti represents porn star Stormy Daniels and is planning on running for President in 2020 as a democrat. If Avenatti really was involved in multiple DV incidents, he should fit right in at the DNC, based on some of the people Democrats have stood behind this recent election cycle.

Avenatti also was pushing a narrative, that IMO, was false on its face, that now Justice Kavanaugh was involved in multiple gang rape parties in high school in the 1980s. I wonder if he will advocate to receive the same standard of due process himself that he was pushing for Justice Kavanaugh to receive.

I am curious to know if this will derail or enhance his chances of getting the Presidential nomination from the Democratic party, and if this will impact his ability to practice law in CA (and elsewhere).
