Either I didn't read it that way, or killing somebody would accomplish the same thing, i.e.typing anything at all wont be something you'll be able do anymore, and that's not a threat.
But, for sake of argument, isn't breaking somebody's bones considered a threat?
Technically, breaking off the arms and/or fingers won't completely stop a person's ability to type. They would have to disable every single part of the body that COULD touch and push down on a keyboard. So yeah, it kind of is a death threat
With voice recognition software you might have to go even further.
