I think that England will have a though time there country depends for big part on international market. What if big company's move to other country's only because this decision. Negotiations will be hard with the other EU country's and can take years. The old trading contracts are not longer valid lucky enough they never started with using the Euro coin.

What a great result, UK getting out of Eurozone and not letting anymore the European Central Bank to decide for them, thats the first major step which is good to UK. Now I expect Italy to get out of Eurozone as I remember when I was there a few years back, I meet an engineer who had worked at Mercedes-Benz for 20 years, yet now he was unemployed because of the Euro and showed me a 50 Euro banknote and told me this destroyed us, and he was damn true about it, Euro destroyed all Eurozone, so far I have not seen a country being better than before entering the Eurozone, and I am not talking about Portugal, Ireland ,Spain and Greece which I think they will be next.
Today is a victory of the freedom, come on domino effect I wait you happening soon.

We didn't do alright, we poured £millions every day into the EU to bail out Germany and other countries, and got nothing of value in return.

Remember, an Englishman invented the Internet and made Bitcoin possible. Now we are in control again, expect more world benefits to come from us. The destruction of the evil EU is just one of them.

I was quite surprised that the English actually leave the EU maybe this step will be followed by other European countries seem to be following the fastest was French. Frexit?

The irony here is that, relatively speaking, the UK did alright out of the EU (immigration aside). Whereas the Greeks, Spain, Cyprus, Ireland et al have, to a greater or lesser degree, been shafted by their membership.

Yet we are out and they are in.

Definite domino effect highly likely. Lets wait and see.

My tuppeneth - today marks the end of the European Union - just a matter of time now.

I'm also amused by the way the Scott independence vote seems to have had what I am sure to many are an unanticipated negative consequence of separating that jurisdiction from the EU.

The Scots nationalists have gamed it TVB. I don't think I have seen such cynical political posturing in my lifetime.

To use the Leave result as a legitimation for another Scottish independance referendum when the last one is less than 2 years behind us, is absolutely staggering.

Bearing in mind that the last Scottish Independance referendum was meant to be a once in a lifetime decision.

I find it all a little more than undignified TBH

Wow! 17 million vs 16 million? That means a lot of people there still want to be in the EU. Personally I don't understand what's the point of Brexit, and now I see that a lot of people in the GB don't understand it either.

The ugly truth is that the 17 millions are mainly old fags. Everyone above 55 years old voted out and everyone under 40 voted remain... That's the real sad thing here ><

WRONG!!!!!

I have many friends all young and under 30 with young families who voted to leave.
People want change and its not dictated by how old you are.

I'm surprised and delighted by the vote.

I would suggest to those of England to do a 'means test' of all immigrants which landed on their shores via dictates from Brussels.  Those who have had a net negative economic impact (e.g., feeding on the welfare state with no noticeable trajectory toward or observable interest in weening themselves) could be relocated North.  Once that is accomplished a the Scots could have again the option of splitting from England and re-joining the EU with every hope that they would jump on the chance.

There seems to be so little understand about why the EU was created, how it has evolved, and why it was so important for us to get out. In fact, it is important for the stabilityof Europe for the Union to be dissolved, interest rates to rise to  2%, and for the insovent banks to take their punishment without the bail-in theft option.

I might put together a site with my views on the recent victory for Britain and Europe.

The losers won. I wish them to be happy in their small, foggy and rainy island. Every nice British guy I've ever met made the only good decision available: to leave Britain. I guess that soon, there will be only faggots and drunkards in the UK. Or has it happened, already?

They gonna bleed in a huge brain out...

Half of the British people I work with in scientific fields announced to my company they want official letters of support to ask for French or German nationalities xD

So do the students...

... the ones with the high IQs and low morals. Can't wait. Get 'em outa here.

Brits betrayed the European idea! Let German-French duo makes them suffer because of their decision.

The British economy is more powerful than that of Germany and France combined. That is why all the Eastern Europeans are flocking to the United Kingdom. Germany is only able to attract low quality Turkish and Arab immigrants, and France is full of Sub Saharan African immigrants. The German and the French economies are going to suffer.

That's very bad for them. They'll get what they merited. I can predict that they will go throught choas times ! If the United Kingdom left, well, that will be good for France, because its preponderant role will be reinforced.
