I hope that btb88.com can compete with other gamblers

Why btb88 needs to compete with gamblers while btb88 is a gambling site/casino? Do you mean to say that they need to compete with other gambling sites/casinos?
Talking about competition among bitcoin gambling sites, it is getting tougher time to time, most all sites tries to offer attractive promotions for players.
Of course the competition is not only about promotion but it consists of many other things such as advertisement, services, etc.
So any sites that has all the best will be able to compete in the competition among bitcoin gambling sites.

You can have the verification procedure perfectly in order, but I think that is also too big a hurdle for players on this forum. Since it is crypto, which equates to as much anonymity as possible, I think it is a wrong choice to set up this verification so strict. Blocking so many countries is not really an advantage either. Many players become insecure because of this, but since you are dealing with rules of your license, this becomes a very difficult story to find customers on the forum.

ya.ya.yo!

Obtaining some degree of anonymity is important. I don't think people like to send all kinds of documents to confirm their identity. What is a good thing is that this is made known immediately. And not only if you want to have high amounts paid out. I think that is a positive and fair point from the OP.

Thanks for all of your thoughts! We're having lots of conversations as a team about what we've been hearing in this forum. I hope you continue to weigh in as we continue building btb88!

Too bad your website is restricting so many countries. Just take a look at the posts in this thread, more than half of them (expecting yours) are people complaining about the fact that the website is restricted in their country. I don't know anything about licensing and stuff but that license you got there seems like it doesn't help you too much considering most European countries are restricted.

From what i understand the license you got is almost impossible to get by a bitcoin sportsbook, this might be a huge advantage but obviously there are also some limitations it creates. There are so many big casinos and sportsbooks that don't require KYC and also accept players from the countries that you are banning so your future doesn't seem to bright, at least here on bitcointalk. I like the fact that you put so much price on the safety of your clients, by using a different license and also require KYC but unfortunately this aldo makes it harder for your casino to progress given the fact that people are not used with KYC on crypto casinos/sportsbooks. Wish you good luck with your casino and hope thst you achieve your goals

Thanks for sharing your thoughts Smiley You're right, people aren't very used to KYC on crypto gaming sites right now.

I'm hoping that with lots of conversations like the ones we've been having here in this forum, we can start to decide what we want the future of betting with bitcoin to be! I think security is a good place to start. It's been really great to learn how many people wish we held licenses in more countries!

Thank you! Yes, if anyone would like to jump in, they're welcome to!

And you're right, Isle of Man isn't a popular license in this forum -- it's traditionally been impossible for a bitcoin book to get a license from the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission. The standards that they set for operation of your casino and the safety of the players funds are much much higher and better enforced.

While holding this license might mean that right now we can't accept players from as many countries, it also means that the people who do play on our site have a safer experience. And that's what's most important to us.

We think that holding the same license as some of the biggest gaming sites in the world is helping us bring bitcoin into mainstream gambling, which we're pretty excited about!

I must say it is a very good point that you are trying to help here with answers and give explanations. I saw many sites here who refuse to answer on any comments. It's never fun to explain less positive things or difficult things, so that's a prelude to other sites. Incidentally, not personally intended for certain sites. Players will get use to the Isle of Man probably one day. Although it is more look a nice vacation destination if I check Google.

Honestly, I think it's really great that we're having these conversations -- I'm very happy to answer all the questions and listen to any feedback. At the core of our mission is building a site that's safe and trusted, and conversations like these are a big part of that.

I appreciate your thoughts, thanks so much for sharing them!

Interesting subject. So if we deposit money to your website, this will not be possible until the players account has been approved?
That will be the first time I hear this. Usually you are always able to deposit as much as you want, unless you want to withdraw, then the problems begin.
I this really is implemented, then it is honest but actually I do not think you block deposits after registration. Would not make any sense.

New players won't be able to deposit and play until their account has been verified. It's really important to us that we're operating in a way that's fair and fun for our players, and that we're keeping their bitcoin safe and secure. This is one way that we can do that!

If this is the case, then it is really a good job. I am curious what experience players will say about this, and if they already created an account and tried to deposit then.
Only problem could be the jurisdiction from your website, as Isle of Man as not so popular in this forum as far as I know. Could be wrong. Mostly what I see is sites from Curacao.
