More refunds paid. Another 1 coin sent to freejack. Not all refunds that were paid are from members who actively post here. Many are from emails.

btc-arbs Administrator  Could you tell my why you can't just Reopen the site if it is your intention to repay us.
Reopening the site would sure give your credibility a boost.

Because a PONZI scheme is unsustainable.  Continuing the site will probably allow him to pay you off, but then he'll have a new set of people he won't be able to pay and the problem continues.  Hence why HYIP admins cut and run.

He could just loaded the page up, but not accepting any new deposits, if he is no scammer, where he previously claimed.

Also, the way he make us to demand the refund from him, was really very inconvenience for us.

Well, but he was not the first scammer, and certainly not the last.

Hmmm, he needed addresses to send coins too.

Right! Look at Qwiner's trust rating that tells all...

Let me start off by saying wow this thread has come a long way lol. I remember when it was only 11 pages long and yonce and dyask would argue. I finally made an account now that everyone seems to be working together. The amount I lost is 1.9 btc. I have pmed the so called admin and have emailed his refund address but my btc still hasn't been returned. Can someone please add my name to the list. I am unable to bc my cell phone is shitty. Much appreciated.

Yep this clearly smells of more lies...there's no reason he/she couldn't have just brought the site back up, stopped taking new deposits, and use the data stored in the site to know exactly who he/she f*cked over and thus pay back.

I sent my info with the small hope I'd get my BTC back, but truth be told not knowing who this person is means I can't just show up on their doorstep with the cops and get my money back.

havnt checked this thread in 2 weeks, did i miss anything ? Huh

The BTC-Arbs admin posted here he wants to refund us our deposits (without the gained interest) Therefore he requested us to PM him our details (btc-arbs username, transaction IDs, wallet address to be refunded to) so he can refund you.

We're keeping a list to check who has been refunded and the amounts, you can find the list here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1lSUi0_1bqe0sv5XI4EvXWPcWI7fwnJbFQY-kMsYxp10/edit?pli=1#gid=1324696940

Edit: xminer, I added your details to the spreadsheet.

So far we have 92 users listed in our spreadsheet with 250 BTC alltogether.
The admin claimed there were about 1000 users signed up to the website with 500 BTC. I find it hard to believe the other 900 users have 250 BTC too.

From the 250 BTC, 6 have been paid back.

I would like to know the philosophy behind who gets what? How is it Freejack gets 4btc back and I have received zilcho??? Not that I'm wishing any ill will on Freejack, I hope he gets all his funds back, but I was neither the smallest nor the largest and I haven't so much as received a hiccup in my direction! What gives?

What are PM's that are supposed to be sent? Excuse my ignorance.

PM = private message
If you want to send a PM to BTC-Arbs, go to his profile page (https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/btc-arbs-337325) and click the "Send this member a personal message." down there.

in the google doc do we use our btc-arbs user name or bitcointalk username?

Bitcointalk username. That's how we can communicate with each other. The spreadsheet is for our purposes, not the BTC-Admin. He should be refunding us based on our emails and PMs with the BTC-arbs username information.

Unless it's already been done, could someone (who has more time on their hands than me Smiley ) search the boards and see if there are any other threads pertaining to btc-arbs members trying to get their btc back, and let them know about our spreadsheet?

One of the main challenges that I'm experiencing is that the copy of the database that I have is old. The most recent version was corrupted by hackers. Therefore, each refund requires information from the user, which is then cross referenced with data from the old database and the public blockchain. Furthermore, I need to know which address to send the refund to.

To complicate the situation more, during the initial hacking, many deposits were sent to the Bitcoin addresses of the hackers. By providing your information by email or PM, you are helping to create an accurate ledger of balances.

From the Google refund document, you can see that I am not exclusively paying tiny balances. Freejack has received 4 bitcoins of his original 27 bitcoin deposit back, and he is one of the largest investors.

More refunds have been sent today.  Please do not send attachments to the refund email address.

Here are the exact details of the deposit amounts and dates. I would appreciate if you can refund me my deposits. I have emailed you several times without a response. My emails have the address to send the refund to.

My username on btc-arbs was awesome.

3/25/14---sent in .06 BTC
3/30/14----sent in .07 BTC
4/3/14----sent in .06 BTC
4/7/14----sent in .07 BTC
4/12/14--- sent in 1.0 BTC
4/14/14----sent in .09 BTC.

Total deposit-- 1.35 BTC

Can someone please add my username and Total amount due to the spreadsheet. For some reason I am unable to do so.
