It's rather very surprising that bitcoin actually fell below $5000 and some were predicting last year that it will dump below $3000 before it will begin to rise again.  I think the bear market is still here and it may take some months before we begin to see real growth in the price of bitcoin in cryptocurrency market!

Because they can't understand how the speculation market Works, remember there will be No. a sustainable increase in the price of coin. All of these pumps just temporary and you should not expect there will be a long term gain in the price of crypto.
Its true that these pumps were temporary.
They aren't bound to come forever but they will happen suddenly.
The bear market market is likely to stay but it will be soon going out.

No, it is not over. However, it is felt that the bears have become week. I see, sometimes the market situation resembles the times when bulls dictate their rules. Hope, bears will soon leave us.
We can observe how with each day the bears in the market are getting smaller. And when the determining majority will be bulls - then Bitcoin will not be stopped.

I think people getting bearish on $BTC might be surprised, enforce your risk management as much as you can, on either side of the trend you are positioned.
It is no longer a surprise that bitcoin keeps on plummeting until now.
2018 wasn't the expected rise of bitcoin.
Too many speculations fell and lost confidence that gave their reputation a stain.

Actually, a lot were expected from 2018 after btc's performance last year. Many said that this year will be when we'll shoot for the moon and hit another all time high. Correction was expected of course but people didn't expect it to cover the whole year.
Yeah it's the reason why too many positive speculations came out early this year.
Some said $75,000, some $25,000 - $30,000.
But most of them failed and that's what I'm saying that their reputation has a stain now.

Honestly i still feel its a bull trap and bitcoin will reach down below 5800$, before real bull market begins...How many of you guys agree with this ?
I think you are not aware of the reality of the whole situation, the bear market has already taken root in this market. And who will decide to overcome it is not clear. And to identify the real prices of coins is still far.
Many are not aware of what it is happening, they seem to think that just because the last year gave us a bull market this year was going to be the same and I still see many people that are still delusional and are expecting a recovery during the last days of December, but there are many like us with our eyes open that understand that the recovery will not happen that fast.

Is the bear market over? most definitely not
Could that have been the bottom? possible, but certainly not guaranteed
Could this pump much higher? indeed
Wait for the bounce and short the corn? wait for the bounce and short the corn

It seems to me that 2019 will be exactly the opposite of what happened in 2018, in my opinion, over the next six months, Bitcoin will continuously grow, since it will need to recover from a long bearish trend.

It will not be the same but will also not be exactly opposite. 2020 and 2021 might be opposite of what happened in 2018, not the 2019. 2019 will be a boring year. Price will mainly stay the same. Yes it will go up and down but at the end of the year will be pretty much same as at start. Random people will totally lose faith that Bitcoin will get them rich fast and those that still holds will sell. Institutions will keep buying.

I expect the market to break $5800 after the ETF delay and we will trade sideways like 2014. I could be wrong, but I won't be surprised if it hits $4000~5000.
So what about hitting below $3,500 ?is this all that matters for us to believe that bear market is staying with this market untill this end year, and might stay for the next year?
Stop looking for the bullmarket as this has been impossible to happen for 2018-19 and i believe that we are waiting for nothing now.
Let us expect the good movements in 2020 as for sure the correction of bubbles are done and recovering may the next big thing to happen

maybe it will make a longer time to see the growth of bitcoin on the market. yesterday's market ability which will weaken will definitely strengthen, we can see the current market growth. and this will be a good sign for the crypto market next year.
we can compare the current situation with 2016 and 2017, when Bitcoin took off from $ 500 to $ 20,000. And this is just one year. Based on this, we can assume today more active growth if the activity of the investor is higher.
