You can exchange LTC and USD on Vircurex.

click on Settings, Layout, and then uncheck "Show only BTC rates," and save.

It would not effect them in any way and if it is such a non-problem why has it been legislated into law for just about any exchange that is in existence. You know them puny little things like the NY and London Stock Exchanges.. Be nice if these exchanges instead of just proving the trade amount and price would provide the account numbers for each trade so we can see just how much dirty dealing goes on in a day. That will never happen though then they would all be exposed for the frauds they are.
