I dont know how to feel about this ddos attack, but it is prob not the best way to go about things.

If this were the "real" currency world, some people in btc-e would be going to jail.

At least back off a few minutes an hour and let people do what they need to with their money. This new group especially seem to be of average means and many younger folks. It's on you who suffers!

At the very least there would be an investigation. But you have a point.

btc-e and nvc-dev team should send all those coins to oblivion address like 4PreminedNovaCoinEaterNfC4rF1b and everybody would go silence.

Good idea, on another note, has anyone ran a tx checker yet? To check that the said 110k coins were even transferred?

I must say that this makes no sense on BTC-e's part to accept 110,000 NVC premined coins.

Centralization = power = corruption

All the coins NVC mined Balthazar (110,000 coins ) are in the guarantee fund exchange BTC-e.com

And WTF is a  "guarantee fund"!!!!  Who gets these "coins"? Guarantee of WHAT?  if something goes bad with the coin youll have 100,000 worthless coins? to do what with?? Are you going to refund the people who get ripped off when this crashes with these worthless coins?

You got paid to pump up a worthless coin, and you are scamming your customers out of money.

All the coins NVC mined Balthazar (110,000 coins ) are in the guarantee fund exchange BTC-e.com

To sum it up...

Guy (who is a mod at btc-e) forks a broken coin and premines it.

Then releases it in Russian only (BTC-E). Even though he speaks English, he doesnt tell anyone in English.

Then sends 110,000 coins to btc-e

Instantly get a button on the front page of btc-e

Price sky-rockets!

None of this is denied.  It is all documented and admitted to. AND this is only the part they are telling us about.  Add this to the VERY Obvious price manipulation that is going on.... scam scam scam scam

If they do this "in your face" rip off with NVC, can you trust them not to play with the other currencies?  How many people lost money the week before when they did the old pump and dump with RUC.

You can argue that people bought NVC, RUC, etc... so its their own fault when they lose money.  But the people that use btc-e need to know that the game is rigged.  I think there is enough documented information in this fiasco to warrant a scammer tag.

So what? balthazar got catched for premining, he send to you and so people have to forget about that?
Why he also premined what was his goal when he did it? Then when released 90% of people was not able to even solo mine...who mined the following blocks until everyone finally able to mine it?
Well I prefer stop to comment about. I love BTC-e but this story is too much guys...

Why would they be ashamed they built pump and dump exchange they are only doing what the system was designed for and has been used for with all the other coins on it. This whining would not be here if you people had had the chance to get in on the ground floor of the scam then this thing would be the best thing since sliced bread like all the other trash coins that have come and gone before it...

i love btc-e too, but i never keep money on there.

whenever i want to trade btc<->ltc i follow these steps:

1. start TOR
2. register at btc-e.com with a random email address (it's unneeded)
3. deposit BTC/LTC
4. trade at market (not limit orders: that would keep funds on btc-e for too long for my liking)
5. withdraw BTC/LTC
6. burn account and close TOR

Interesting! BTC-e won't ban you for using tor? MtGox says the will.

come on, its good tor is not banned, what are you, totalitarism fan?

The upside of NVC is that the LTC difficulty is going to drop. Two days and counting till the adjust.

Let's hope that BTC-e release a new coin every month so the quicker users can capitalise on the gold rush Smiley

Except have you seen the buy orders? It's worth less then NVC, if they keep releasing coins they will buy LTC. If LTC doesn't trade on BTC-E, its bleak for LTC indeed.
