Last year, rich people decided to increase their capital and invested in cryptocurrencies, invested a lot of money to create a HYIP around cryptocurrencies and it went. A huge number of people began to buy cryptocurrencies, the demand grew and with it prices rose. Bringing to the climax of the situation, rich people converr their coins into fiat and remained in a huge plus. This year, a lot of people left cryptocurrencies, because they fell for the bait of hype and could not earn money. Now the market is much less investors and traders than last year. Also this year there is no excitement in the media, which was in 2017. But despite all this, I think that this cycle will repeat itself. So I just hold my coins and wait for the price to rise.
When price increased to above 15000 usd people expectations were more they were predicting it to reach 50000 usd in 2018 now their perception has changed now they think it will reach 50k usd in 2020.
I am not very sure about it, because it is quite difficult to predict the future of the BTC. As far as I know, experts say that it will be the main currency used by most governments and will rule the market. But again, looking at today's regulations it is really hard to tell what will happen in the future. Anyways, let's hope for the best!
I think that bitcoin already showed its maximum at the end of 2017, and then it will move in a small price range. I doubt that he will grow to 50,000 dollars.

Yes, I agree with you. Last year bitcoin grew well and reached its highest number at the end of the year. After growing, of course there is a period of correction that is still felt. However, I believe bitcoin will be able to rise again and reach its highest number at the end of this year.

Since it is considered superior among the other crypcocurrencies there is no other update regarding the purpose and the overall usage, the only thing that is happening between the developers is that they fix issues and since the original creator cannot be found it is not a good thing to change anything and in fact it is a coin that is almost perfect in overall performance and usage. I don't think there would be changing regarding bitcoin but it is up to us to change how it is being used.

When we do talk about technicalities then I would say it is just really different on where bitcoin on earlier years and upto this present we do see the forks but still people end up on using BTC unless if lightning network would be put up then it would be a major change but sadly it isn't still changed but when we do talk in the price then theres no doubt and we can see on our very own eyes on what changes do it made. thank you!
in my opinion, the difference is that currently bitcoin has become a public concern, many have started to be interested and want to invest in it, even though in 2018 there are lots of bad news about bitcoin and affect the price, many pros and cons occur in bitcoin, and regulatory issues from the government never resolved

Look at the stats and you will see that the later part of 2017 and early 2018 are very significant. That is the period bitcoin has got most publicity that have lasting impression in people around the world.

Many things are going to be implemented. Lightning network should be the biggest update in 2018. It will make Bitcoin more faster and cheaper. And also it allows to create some more powerful apps (smart-contracts) on Bitcoin!

2017 Bitcoin was a gold very expensive and profitable as at last bitcoin move to 19000$ but this year 2018 bitcoin is down but we are still hoping for it increasment

Not only bitcoin but altcoin price on 2017 is also high and the crypto market on 2017 is the best so far on cryptocurrency history because almost all crypto price is so high but when it comes to 2018, everything changed. Last year is duration for bullish trend of crypto and this year is times for bearish, more than 7 month already crypto in bearish and i believe this will end soon and change to bullish again. Crypto is has great future in the long term, and the market cap will going up to multi trillion dollar.

The problem is that there are too many fraudulent schemes, and it makes people increasingly scared when investing in the crypto market. That has a huge impact on the fake BTC in particular or the price of altcoins in general.I hope that they will soon find a way to eliminate the useless altcoin
