By 2017, the value of bitcoin has had a boom time that is well over $ 20,000. But they lasted only a few months, until March 2018, the value of bitcoin fell to 70%. They make people invest in it when it's worth $ 20,000 in losses. Many experts say that 2018 is a very bad year for bitcoin.

The e-currency platform was strangled by fraud allegations, which prompted a board member to panic and sell large amounts of Bitcoin stock on the exchange. As a result, each sale pushes Bitcoin prices down further, until the value of the coin is only half. Of course, this is not the only reason Bitcoin - but it explains the share. What causes Bitcoin to get into trouble early in 2018.

2017 is the year when many people are getting to know the crypto world, they are flocking to buy crypto currencies, this is what makes BTC rise and this year BTC is still fresh
whereas in 2018 is the year when people have taken advantage of the previous year, so they flock to dump their BTCs after profit, in my opinion this year is a year of readjustment for BTC and other crypto
that is my speculation

I think it will be not same like around 2017. BTC fluctuates more often as compared to previous years.  I am not sure as everybody predictions fail this time, but I predict it will vary around $7000 to around $14000.

other than the price, what difference happened to BTC in 2018 and 2017 ago? then what is your hope for the future. according to your personal experience.
thank you!
While we are not yet on December comparing the price of bitcoin from 2017 to 2018.

You can see that there's a good increase to the current price now. While the others are aching of the correction but in fact this correction didn't reach the bottom from last year's 3rd quarter high.

I believe that we will see the new height of Bitcoin in 2018, just wait for 30th September. Probably BTC will reach 30-40k to the  end of December 2018.

We only have one different thing:
in 2017 Bitcoin became popular, a large of new investors have known about it so they have invested a huge of money to buy Bitcoin and this thing made Bitcoin price went to $20k.
In 2018 a lot of investors are waiting for a new pump to help them sell bitcoin at the price they have bought and quit this game.

There were many huge developments for btc last year that really pushed it into the media and people's attention.

The first, of course, was the price.
It became trendy for news outlets to report on the price and that drove hype and popularity up to incredible heights.
This all came to a crypto frenzy last dec. that pushed everything into all time high prices.
It was really the first time that btc had become a mainstream thing.
Of course, not mainstream adopted, but basically everyone knows what crypto and btc is now.

The other thing was there was a huge schism in the btc network.
Scaling was starting to become a huge issue and the btc community was basically split on how to fix it.
There were some who pushed for larger block sizes while others proposed adapting different protocols.
Of course, there were those who wanted it to stay as it is.
This debate included mining pools, blockchain developers, whale investors, etc.

It resulted in quite a number of forks (the biggest being bch) that still continues to today.
after reading your explanation, I got a lot of descriptions that made me understand the reasons for the difference between BTC in 2017 and 2018. It is very useful for me personally and beginners who are still in the learning stage. to be a learning evaluation material later. thanks. suskes always for you.

There's a major distinction amongst now and a year ago. Around then they had not pondered the dangers. I know you recognized the end result for the cost of BTC a year ago. But as far as innovation and highlights it appears to be better. Obviously, as far as fans in fact 2017 has encountered a critical increase, So far the prominence BTC STILL THE BEST. Now, in my opinion, the most secure interest in the market right currently is bitcoin.

thank you!

In 2017 Bitcoin prices continued to rise, but prices declined in July 2017 and increased again in October. But in 2018 there has been no increase in the price of Bitcoin. I predict an increase in prices will occur in October. Bitcoin history here! https://coinmarketcap.com/historical/

My intuition tells me that soon we will see another flight to the moon of the BTC, I think the bearish situation with BTC is artificially, made to take everything away from small fish!)

I don't know for sure because it is difficult to predict the outcome of the btc but some experts think that it will rule the market and it will be the main currency that will be used by almost all governments

There's a big difference between now and last year. I know you knew what happened to the price of btc last year.  For me, i think, if the price of BTC reach $10k in between october or november it's possible to reach the price of btc is $20k in december. They'll know the risk and they'll know how to play BUY LOW SELL HIGH.

in 2017 everyone was curious about BTC and started trying various ways to get BTC. so that in that year BTC reached the highest price. and this year 2018 everyone understands that BTC investment is very risky, then lots of drama and issues so that whales play a role to play the price.
this is just a simple analysis, and my future will not take a big risk.
at the same time in 2017, making many people curious about BTC. at that time they had not thought about the risks. I hope people don't run fast to leave BTC which has made many people curious. Grin  thank you for giving a little description about the difference. success is always for you.

in the past year I didn't understand about BTC, just a glimpse of crypto. and only in terms of price I know. but in terms of technology and features it seems better. that's what I can explain a little, the rest of the seniors better understand the difference in more detail.
