Is it possible someday that Medical Hospitals accept BTC as a payment for Hospital bills and other fees??

Cryptocurrencies are becoming increasingly accepted as a means of exchange for a variety of goods and services. The real estate industry has already seen brokers begin to accept Bitcoin as a form of payment, so it should not be surprising to see cryptocurrencies penetrate the healthcare service market. The convenience of transparent payments, coupled with the efficiency of the transaction is what the service providers are looking for — from the medical institutions themselves to their patients.
  — The Virtual Doctor Project in Zambia works with patients living in remote African areas, making it ideal for the patient to make online payments in the form of cryptocurrency. Additionally, some online pharmaceutical services selling medicine have begun to accept cryptocurrency as a form of payment. Medical tourism is yet another promising area for using cryptocurrency as a means of payment. Even now, many patients who travel abroad for organ transplants, cancer treatment etc., prefer to pay using cryptocurrency.

Of course it will become possible. Immediately after the crypto currency is legalized in all countries, we can pay it anywhere (in hospitals, too).

it may be possible along with the future and technology in the future. but I am a bit wondering what would happen if payments use bitcoin in an emergency and we have to wait for slow bitcoin confirmation. is this efficient?

It could be happen in the future if this technology will arrange properly. It could be more applicable also in laboratory and emergency situation.

I have seen ew projects trying to integrate blockchain into medicine. One project considering medical data collection and storage. Once they have come to see the need for such integration, it wouldnt be surprising to see hospitals accepting Btc some day.

BTC as a payment is not a bad idea. Because if you earn from cryptocurrency, you don't have to withdraw money anymore in order to make less hassle transactions in hospitals. Even in games, they currently accept bitcoin as a form of payment, particularly in csgo.

From the hospital's perspective, it would help them to facilitate treatment if they accepted bitcoin. And it would prevent losses if they admit someone into emergency who has no money other than bitcoin. Think about it: a man comes in, near death, so they admit him and treat him. Then when payment time comes, he has no cash money, no credit card, no bank, nothing. It's not impossible, a lot of people live like this.

So he says the only way he can pay them is bitcoin. What are they going to do? Turn him out on the street and say thanks for visiting? Accepting bitcoin is just one more way they can make sure they get paid for their services, and it can avoid the ethical problems of not dealing with emergency patients.

So far, there are no opportunities for this. Perhaps in ten years it will be possible. But this requires a lot more to do.

possibly bitcoins can be used in medical industries by upgrading their medical equipments and as a result, hospitals was able to attend all the surgeries needed and can treat various diseases.Upgrading means innovation that makes our lives more efficient. No more lines over the counter. No more lines in medicine sections and imagine a hassle free and accommodating hospitals in your city or town.

I think it's possible as soon as bitcoin to dollar rate stabilizes. Otherwise, it's doubtful...

I do that it would happen  especially to my country. Since in case of emergency sometimes I cant cash out my money easily so btc as payment for them would be easy and more convenient. No need to go and fall in line to banks. You just need your phone and everything will be settled.

I think this is very likely because when bitcoin continues to gain wider adoption and blockchain there will also be times when most financial transactions will be in the blockchain and the hospital will not be an exception. It will make it easier for patients to make payments, as long time, many people will know bitcoin so if bitcoin is in the medical industry then it will be very helpful at all.

Nothing is impossible. It is possible and it already exist. Blockchain payment is allowed in many companies worldwide and what more on a health related one. I did some research and many hospitals and clinics are widely accepting bitcoin as payment system. It exists on the nation who allows and accepts bitcoin to do some transactions. It is very possible if the nation you're living in has an open arms to accept bitcoin. Other governments are just worried about the rumors they are hearing such as bitcoin used in different illegal transactions and that's one heavy reason they banned the use of bitcoin in their area.

There is a future for everything, if it is beneficial to someone. I think that soon bitcoin will be accepted in almost all spheres of everyday life. To date, payment for medical services by bitcoins is practiced in rare cases. But, for example, one of the private clinics in Poland - Medicover Group - began taking bitcoin. Though now it's more like advertising of the clinic, because I doubt that there is a huge demand for this service at the moment.

hah I don't know this discussion will be useful, I think bitcoin is more used as an asset than its virtual currency function. and we really know why that factor can happen, because the bitcoin value is difficult to stable and very fluctuative until it will be prone to become a tool of transactions in real life.

Yeah it is surely possible. I think the value of bitcoin should be stable first before this could happen.

If there is a pioneer nation and a hospital in that country pioneering the use of Bitcoin as a payment for hospital bills and other fees, I think it is possible to do so. However, the current situation is too difficult and many legal issues in each country. I hope this will come true.
