The US Senate hearing did boost the market with the positive outcome. The price increased, but it's not going that hard like we would like to see. With all the support from the authorities we'd expect bitcoin to rise much faster. But anyhow, it's not dropping, hopefully the surge will soon come.

6k seemed to be a hard floor for many. While I didn't fact check, I was told someone made a $7,000,000 buy order around $6k. You can imagine at some point they will be selling, having made a very healthy return. Looking at other years, BTC typically made a recovery by the second week of February. Looks like we just need to wait it out a little more.

I really think that BTC needs to break above $10,000, the previous support now resistance, before we can confirm its recovery. Otherwise, we still risk falling bellow $6,000 levels.

Hope it's not like deja vu thing but for now, as i can see the graph, it seems that it last a bit longer now than the previous weeks where crypto markets are in bloodbath. It's a bit frustrating to watch that whenver bitcoin made a run, it will also goes down afterwards.

Which means that this bloodbath is not yet over. As much as we wanted the bullish sentiments takes over, there are still investors who will bought at the floor price then suddenly dump it when the price goes up by just around $1000 to take easy profits. I know that bitcoin can recover, no doubt, but at this time, its still a waiting game for most investors. The US Senate Hearing did bring positive news that's why the market is green right now, but it didn't sustain the much needed bull run that we all been waiting for. Yes, I know that feeling to see bitcoin goes under the 5 digit mark and watch our investment goes down, however, this is just another test that we can all overcome. Maybe if we can see bitcoin touches $10,000 then we can say that this bloodbath is over, for now, in my opinion, we are not out of the woods yet. Everyone should be cautious at this stage and see how the market will react with every news that will come around.

Do you think BTC price can keep it uprising? I was really kind of worried watching the price slowly starts rising then now it goes down again. What will or would be the result if it stays that way more price down movement than price hike movement? I wish Bitcoin will recover soon.  Cry

I do believe the price of Bitcoin will be going up. The process will be not the fastest one, but BTC will sure gain.

If it recovers too fast, what stops people to cash out again? We would see the same scheme again. Stabilizing around these levels could be healthy. In the other Hand, if it stabilizes here, weak hands get panic and sell. Hard times coming.

Well, Bitcoin has returned to the rise, and now it has become more than $ 8000 (a develop of more than 25% in just one day). Furthermore, I believe that this progress of value will continue and the crisis of falling price is over. In my opinion, media news should be avoided and their expectations are mostly false and negatively affect the views of users, for example, in this period, many people are afraid of this sudden fall and some of them believe that the era of digital currencies is over.
On the other hand, I think that Bitcoin may return to $18000 within 2 weeks and will be in constant rise and there will be a great surprise for the future price this year. As well, there is a possibility that the price will become 100K and the end of this year.

Not yet, Bitcoin will still go down for a little longer, right now it's just moving down, then up, then down, basically it makes 1 step forward and 2 steps back.
Don’t worry it is the nature of bitcoins. They always doing this since the beginning. But yes right now they are not coming out of that dip and this is alarming somehow. This doesn’t mean people start talking about the dying of them. No they will come back soon to the high price but that will definite take time. Give them a break and see the charisma.

Bitcoin is slowly recovering. In past few days it seems like I fell in the river and drowned. Now I put my trust to invest crypto markets and hold my btc no matter what it takes. I hope it will continue its rising price in the markets.

I think it will take a few more months for the price to fully recover. Because as I can see now the progress is too slow and there’s a lot of dips. Which is also good because it’s an opportunity to accumulate more coins. Hopefully by March the price will show some improvement and star to rise again.

Of course its a good opportunity to creat nice portfolio today not only by buying btc, its a good time for small altcoins too,I observe crypto market everyday and I can boldly say that useful altcoins which price are today less than 1$,Their price will be much higher in the near future.we have historical evidences and every year we see inflations which are  inevitable and natural process at this time, even the most stable currencies have falls and its not exception.anyway I think its a good chance that we should not miss,People are earning money for a few years now by this way and not only this people who believe in bitcoin.

There's nothing to worry about, it's slower but still recovering.
I think soon (maybe after February 20) will start to rise to at least 15K.

As newbie trader I understand now that its risk taking for trading situation like this but knowingly prices really goes up and down. Unlike my mini grocery business I can decide the price depending its market value. I still want Btc trading because I am interested to deal with this line of business and it is existing already that is to be use at a later time. It has a huge impact of quite a few people have known Bitcoin so it is worth trying and waiting for that time comes to uprises again.

If it seems to me that bitcoin can still go down again, it's because it's closer to Chinese New Year's Day, which sells bitcoin to get fiat money, for their New Year's celebration, and it's like a seasonal cycle, because bitcoin is mostly owned by china.

Sure, they sell millions of dollars of Bitcoin to pay for the new year celebration  Roll Eyes

Ongoing bear market, more to come.

What if not? It's nearly impossible for btc not to recover. Of course it will although it may take some time, maybe within a few weeks, or months, or even few more years, we don't know when but sure thing is it will recover so don't worry if you are seeing the price falling down, it really happen.

I don’t see any signs that Bitcoin is recovering. That’s pity thing. I will wait until BTC start its rise. It should be done. Otherwise the whole market will crash and we will lose too much money and hopes.

It was recovering a bit after the last bottom was reached, but we have taken a dive below $8k again, which isn't anything bad considering that we probably have found a new temporary range of ~$8k/~$9k, give or take a few hundred. We might even see the market globally fall down deeper towards flat $7k, where in the worst case we'll break through $7k as well due to the lack of actual support. Recently we have seen that usually strong base support levels don't mean anything in a market being as thin as the market right now. Direct result of the thin market is that we might reach a point soon where the market is oversold, which is why I am buying all the way down -- I am not afraid to pull the trigger because this is a fantastic opportunity.

Count on the fact that bitcoin will rise in price and will become a millionaire is stupid. I hope that this year will be solved the problem of transaction and bitcoin will be suitable for trading. Then we will have the opportunity to earn bitcoins. The price of bitcoin will have value. It will be adjusted by the number of coins that we earn.
