Btc is the number one option bud however bch is now gaining its popularity and some people are even speculating that it will replace btc as the main cryptocurrency. It depends on you where to invest and which one is more profutable for you in the long run.
you can always diversify assets and divide them between these coins in some parts. This can be the capitalization or the degree of confidence in them
BITCOIN for me because BITCOIN is the king of all crypto maybe BCH value is easy to get higher but BITCOIN is more legend than BCH

BTG & BCH can't offer anything except huge blocks and less fees for now. No smart contracts or anything else. It's silly to determine them as non speculative tools, IMHO.

Definitely btc is best but don't take bch lightly because they are backed by some of the hard core people from Bitcoin ecosystem. Maybe in years after today both will be parallel in value this could be true.

If from those two to pick only BTC. Thats an easy one. The real question is hold BTC or go after altcoin: NEO,RIPLE,MONERO just to name a few with big long potential....
The best altcoin for me is neo,lisk,iota,strat,ark and gnt
If looking for long term holding , my opinion is BTC because it's a king , how about holding 50% BTC and 50% BCH

From my own point of view, I would always choose BITCOIN above Bitcoin Cash in the sense that Bitcoin is very stable and been there in the cryptoworld dominating all the time. Though BCH scares BTC holders recently, but it is just not enough to prove that BTC will hand over the torch it's holding for a long time.
If you have noticed the market value of BTC that went down recently, then that's the right time for you to invest on it since as of this writing, BTC's market value started to rise again while BCH's falls down back.
stay loyal, support and choose bitcoin forever. we can be like this, gathered in this forum and become rich because of bitcoin. don't forget it. BTC is like a sea and BCH, BTG is just a divided tributaries.
for me Btc is much better to invest than Bch because Btc has the higher in demand therefore it has potential high rate in the future.

bitcoin is the number one and coin is quite good and cheaper than bitcoin cash eth is a good option price of eth does not overshadow too much when bitcoin is too high it is cultured from 286-300 but eth has pretty recovered fast when bitcoin stops rising. Bitcoin cash is a pretty good coin bch has faster bitcoin trading speed but does not mean it is the most popular. I think the price of bitcoin cash has suddenly risen dramatically and it's just a drama that will surely return to its old value soon.
