It's nice to hear that there are merchants somewhere here in the Philippines which are now already accepting bitcoin as payment. My brothers and sister are now living in Manila somewhere in Taguig City and for sure that merchant is not too far from their residence. So it could find time to pay a visit to my relatives there, I will surely drop by in that merchant to taste their foods and pays it with bitcoin to know if they are really accepting it.
That's really interesting to hear! let us know what you find out, glad that bitcoin is moving forward

This is no longer a surprise really because there are now a lot of establishments and companies around the world that accept crypto as payment. And the number consistently grows. It is just a matter of time when we will see that majority of the nations around the globe will be accepting and patronizing crypto just like fiat.

I'm glad you find a merchant that offers bitcoin payment here in the Philippines. If I remember it correctly Artisanal Sundries is located in Makati City. Not only that, there is also Wirin Cupcakery and The Bunny Baker that offers bitcoin payments. My only advise is to always be cautious for bitcoin is still not regulated in the Philippines just to avoid scam.
It is good to know that there are shops here in my country that offers bitcoin payment. This is a proof that bitcoin is now being popular, not only in other countries but also here in the Philippines. You're right, we have to be careful to avoid people from scammers.
I am from the Phillippines. Thank you for your feedback about your experience here in our country. Bitcoin was already regulated by the Central Bank of the Philippines that's why some shops or merchant accept bitcoin as payment. We also have a digital wallet, coins.ph. It also can be used in many transactions. And for the scammer thing, I do not deny that. There are many scammers in the country. They are doing that because they want to earn money in the dirty way and easier way. Just be careful next time.

hearing that story I also feel happy, maybe this is the way bitcoin has started to look bright and bright, and maybe there are many countries that have implemented it, hopefully it happens. And if that continues to happen then bitcoin will become more popular and the price will rise again ...!

Well this is a good news but hoping that the governments will not announce regulations on how bitcoin will be using in the country also taxes are next to implement once they notice that they will be able to earn profit there

That's very nice to know that Philippines are really part of cryptocurrency system and not like just part of it because this is the of the country's that early implementing bitcoin as a terms of payments on some industries, establishment or stores all over the world even it's not already legalizing bitcoin in their respective country. Thus, I'm really agree to the idea that we need to be still careful because there's a lot of scammers that sorround everywhere.

Being in a third world country, it is good to know that the Philippines is making its way to adopt such changes. I am not familiar with that place since I am not always wandering around in Makati, but I do know that our government is not against in cryptocurrency.

You've just visit the philippines? So what country you came from, based on your post history you're a local of philippines, right?
But hey, that's a good thing, if the store is using any other wallet or merchant I guess sending money would take for several minutes unless they used coins.ph and there client as well, so btc/fund will be transfered instantly without waiting of any confirmation.
It could be that OP is an OFW or some sort of dual citizenship. Regarding the topic I love it to hear about local merchants that offers  services and accepts Bitcoin payments. I never heard this locally but good to know it here in this Bitcoin community. I believe that Bitcoin will be getting big in the near future  not only in the Philippines but also arround the world as adoption continue to surge.

This is very wonderful. I am so glad that you are giving this testimony of BTC usage in a country out of live experience and not based on assumptions or hearsay. BTC is really moving forward. Congratulations to the Philippines.
