It is a wonderful country. I think I should go to PHILIPPINES once in my life so I can buy everything in PHILIPPINES And I will pay for all the things that I have bought with Bitcoin.

Btc payment in the philippines is a rare incident. Only the richest may afford ..haha

Its really a nice news, because bitcoin are already regulated bitcoin in Philippines and the country that recognized bitcoin, and the number of people are increasing to invest, that's why btc accepted for payments. We believe and hoping soon that more countries will use btc as for their payments also.

Philippines and South East Asia are booming with the interest, innovation and investment in cryptocurrency. Nobody knows from which part of the world, inspiration will spread to the rest of the world to accept cryptocurrency completely. I do certainly hope that a bright future begins from here simply because of the sheer scale of adoption of cryptocurrency among people.

Tourism is a great area from where the use of BTC and the rest of the crypto coins can be promoted. Naturally, the same will percolate into the daily use of that country's day to day living. Life is to be simplified and naturally the need for carrying a lot of cash can be avoided with cryptocurrency. Currency conversion can be simplified with bitcoins and its regularization will make things extremely smooth for all people including tourists. It is true that we need to be alert with scammers. However, it is simply like asking people to be careful about theft and robbery. One has to take precautions always.

It is heartwarming to read the sheer joy of a BTC enthusiast in this thread. Philippines not only has made BTC transaction easy, but this is one step forward for BTC is becoming a clear alternative currency all through the world with great ease of transaction. Anonymity is maintained, but transparency coupled with decentralization the key. I hope we will be able to travel all over the world in simplicity and ease with greater acceptance of bitcoins all over the world. Once Phillippines regularize cryptocurrency then easily there will be an enhanced trade between PHP and bitcoin.

what you say sounds great! I wish to live in such a country, although I do not have many BTCs, however, with BTC, payments are convenient and I can work wherever I want.

It's nice to hear that,  a developing countries adopt the world of crypto I really wish Philipines fully adopt the system, sooner or later schools, department stores, restaurants in the country accept btc in payment system.

I am wondering how's the fee situation ?? also is this guy approved by the government ? and how is he paying taxes and all of that

It is....a lot of people here in the philippines are holder of bitcoin but still surprising to know that some of them are actually using it as means of payment...

Never heard that, but im glad you enjoy your stay. Philippine is also into crypto world. Some of us really into this kind of extra earnings. All i know is you can exchange bitcoin in different option. Having a store accepting bitcoin is a real deal, meaning that our country is also riding the hype of bitcoins popularity. I guess many people in our place are now knowledgable in bitcoins.

I'm not from the Philippines. In my country, too, you can buy goods for bitcoins in some stores. It is most often online shopping. But I noticed this feature. To buy the same goods for a cheaper Fiat. It is more profitable for me to sell bitcoin and replenish the Bank card with this money. Then pay for purchases with Bank cards.

Yeah, I have heard that some are planning to accept BTC as payment in philippines, but I don't know that there are already businesses accepting it. Its good though.

People looking afraid to invest in bitcoin for thinking about scam. That is the basic reason why people doesn't want to engage investing into bitcoin for their focus is on negative sides of bitcoin and not on positive. It is like they look into bitcoin in a bias way that result to lock mindset.

Wow! That is great, I'm just hearing it for the first time. I know with time many will start accepting bitcoin for payments. I know of one company in USA accepting bitcoin for payments of good and services and still accepting till date. They have strong believe on Blockchain technology that is why they are doing so. If each country start accepting bitcoin for payments before will know it bitcoin will moon to $100,000 or more. For me I have strong believe on Blockchain technology because it will change the world for good. So no matter the price of bitcoin we should take advantage of this technology for good.

Can the Philippines support bitcoin now?
So I wonder if there is a fixed price for bitcoin, or is the price of payment fluctuating with the market price?

Good to know that Philippines are already accepting bitcoin as payments of thier stores this means bitcoin is gradually getting increasing nationwide and Philippines known to be a very active and accommodating country and attentive in many promoting projects welcome investors joined us.

Im glad that Philippines is open in the crypto world. I hope many crypto users will make it easy to use bitcoin as a mode of payment everywhere. And many people will be open minded about bitcoin.
