I find it interesting to take a little bit of risk with XRP, but don't have the knowledge to say that it really has a potential to boom. any words of Motivation or should I stop Converting my BTC to XRP? just wanna Play safe. Cheesy

First thing what I have to say that bitcoin is the king and always you can hold bitcoin if you don't want to trade. If you see the history of bitcoin that is always growing. Sometime make some Corrections but after day, week, month or year btc price go upside. That also proved again when btc come 3k to 60k.

But sometime if you want to get some advantage during bitcoin market correction, because always after btc bull run altcoins also do the same. This time we also will see this IMO. So since btc already make a huge ATH and it’s time to make some Corrections. And meanwhile altcoins will start their actual journey. So it should be wise idea to invest in some potential altcoins to make the investment some X during thus bull run. Good luck

Sounds a recipe for disaster. Basic rule of investing is that you only invest money in something that you have some knowledge about it.
If XRP looses the lawsuit they are facing, they will go to 0. Just hold your BTC.

When it comes to assurance and strength of the foundation, I would go for Bitcoin. It has passed all the tests of time that no altcoin could do right now. We all know that XRP has been facing charges right now so it would be risky to entrust your funds to it rather. If they could fix it in the future, I think that's the best time for you to trust it and take the risks.

Keeping on BTC 150% since crypto is so amazing this year that ppl are all keeping 95% of their assets in bitcoin and maybe converting to fiat when necessary? The tether, of course, the golden goose of all pump'n'dump ecosystems.

But I'm not so sure. I wrote with a trader/investor online that keeps basically all wealth in 40% BTC and the rest to different ALTS with some in low caps coins. Now he has enough funds to buy an average house, invest the rest in the market and live off it perpetually.

Sometimes, ALTS that skyrocket by 4000% can be your best financial plan. Examples are Chiliz (CHZ), DOGE, ADA, BNB (from $30), and Blocknet (BLOCK).

Sorry man but you can never rely on XRP and think that someday this coin will give some surprising price trend like it times 2, x3...Ever since this never it happens to XRP and even the market is in the bullish season, we can just see XRP price remains at below $1 (correct me if I'm wrong) but this is what see in the previous Bullrun.

If you are trying to stay away from Bitcoin, much better for you to choose BNB or ETH. These decentralized coins could give you some chance to multiply your funds someday.

Ripples are showing some price increase this past few days despite of their on going issue with sec. I am not just sure if that price increase will continuous or not. Still a lot of people are waiting for ripples to back to the game.

Why not convert your Bitcoin to Dogecoin instead, since it no longer meme coin now.
Adoption is rising,
Are you sure Dogecoin is no longer a meme coin? what made it all disappear from Dogecoin?
I believe investing in Doge at the current price level is not the right choice. when he converts his BTC into Dogecoin I'm sure it will only make his investment value continue to decrease. doge could easily be thrown away. especially with an unlimited supply and mining in large quantities. it could easily exacerbate the price if there was a large release.

I say its good to have both, for dogecoin since more adoption you can use to buy/pay stuff

I think you can invest a lot in XRP and keep it for the future because it has proven itself in the world of digital currencies and if we look at the chart we see 103% XRP growth in the last 6 months:

But converting Bitcoin to XRP is wrong. Bitcoin is the king of digital currencies, and the more you have in your wallet, the better.
Keep your bitcoins until the end of the year and see the incredible price increase.

That's your own choice right there and you could get huge money if your speculation is right because the price of XRP right now is so low and after the BTC reach its limit price this year and you convert your BTC into XRP, then after that, the price of XRP will also go up like what we have seen with the ETH, then that's a huge win for you. But you also need to consider some consequences and you are ready for its possible results.

I have no problem converting your BTC. but why does it have to be XRP? why not on other assets? I think you already know what the XRP case is like today. and I think you should think about looking for other assets.
although there is a possibility that XRP will grow again when it can win its case. but it must have damaged their market reputation. trust me just look for other assets. There are so many assets with longer-term potential that you should convert your BTC to XRP.

I will still prefer BTC over Altcoin, moreover, XRP has experienced a significant decline after the SEC's complaint to XRP, but XRP has quite a strong fans that's why their trading volume on many exchanges is quite high.
You must first choose between risk or safe because when you prefer to risk your funds in XRP there is a possibility that your assets will decrease quite sharply even though there is still the possibility of getting a profit.

If you wanna play safe, then Bitcoin is the right investment for you. Simply buy during dip, just like we have been seeing today and just HODL. It's not just a little big of risk with XRP, it's huge, I'm sure that you all know that the company has a pending case against SEC right?

Well you can risk on XRP, but you it should be calculated. It could be used to pump and dump by many trading signal groups and other manipulators. So if you are have time the recent spike, then you can make some money by selling it, but it is not a guarantee.

Yes you should definitely stop it. Having bitcoin. Is more than safe than having an xrp. I dont know if you are aware of the issues of xrp these past few days with SEC? yes they could have been outrun it but the fact that they are being sued for something about legality is something you should think again on trusting them. Anyway it's your money, I just suggesting that keeping btc is much better than converting it to xrp.

We don't compare bitcoin to any altcoins in term of investment. You are free to invest or buy any coins that might be interesting for you and legit. But unfortunately, I think converting your btc to xrp is not a good option, especially in this bull run period.
If you think xrp is good to buy, why don't you allocated more fiat to buy them instead of converting your btc. So you can diverse your investment.

Sometimes we will accept things like high returns always come with risks, at this point I just want to hold a lot of BTC instead of putting money in altcoins. One thing I see is that if I just bought and held BTC in the first place, maybe my current profit in this market would have been a lot better.

If you want to stay safe then don't, if you want to take a risk then go for it, risk has two roads you will either lose everything or gain a lot, it's a win or loss situation and with XRP is a high risk, so far it looks good because there is no update yet but once there are announcements you will see if the risk is worth it or you have something to regret, I don't want to motivate you, it's your money it's your risk or rewards at stake here.

Don't compare XRP to Bitcoin because XRP is a centralized coin. In addition to that, the risk is just too great because from the fact that XRP developers holds the majority of the coin and they can dump that anytime they want. That's the reason why they are in a lawsuit right now. Don't exchange your BTC to XRP, it's not worth it. You better look for other altcoins rather than XRP if you want to diversify your portfolio.
