The big risk here is that, you are planning things without the proper knowledge and proper strategies so you might ended up losing more money.
Seriously, I'd rather hold BTC than to convert it to XRP but many says that XRP still has the best chance to survive especially if the SEC result will be in favor to them, and that's the best time for them to grow more but still, BTC is more than good to me.

I find it interesting to take a little bit of risk with XRP, but don't have the knowledge to say that it really has a potential to boom. any words of Motivation or should I stop Converting my BTC to XRP? just wanna Play safe. 
XRP is a coin that is currently being used as an investment option. you should try to compare the xrp price and also the bitcoin price, which estimate will get the greater profit between the two. I think this is a kind of analysis to determine profit. but I think for xrp or btc both still have profit, it's just that the choice happens to you. whether you want to stay to btc or want to try to challenge adrenaline by being on xrp which is full of risks. 
Remember that there's still the SEC thing going around with XRP. With the latest update, I saw this article. It is said there

To be honest, as of the moment, I rather hold or buy more Bitcoin than converting it to any altcoins.
And another thing is your altcoin selection is kinda worst and got some issues recently.
