BTC and USD both have their own attributes and I think we should respect them both for what they are and stop comparing to each other.
While BTC has it's pseudonymity and p2p capability, USD has more availability and acceptance globally. Although if we talk about which one is better I will vouch for BTC.
Everyone has their own opinions and in my opinion BTC has better characteristics than USD. This doesn't necessarily mean USD is worthless. Both have their own values.

This seems comparison between the bitcoin and stable coins. Nothing is worth to compare with the bitcoin because the value worth, utilization and volume. These all things make bitcoin is the best than any asset or currency.

If the USA nailed by the any government in future then automatically USD value will be controlled but BTC is uncontrollable and decentralized.
with the government will not be able to fight, the government will win

They are completely different league.
It's like comparing USD and gold - USD and diamond etc

USD is fiat, BTC is an asset but have advantage as fiat and there are no investment able like it

But if we want to see stable value / progress, USD will be my choice

USD is better, it is legal. But BSV is even better, it is legal and has limited emission https://twitter.com/CalvinAyre/status/1130809891550126080

These guys have some interesting stuff going on here https://cryptotradernews.com/cryptocurrency/bitcoin-vs-usd-for-storing-value-purposes/

Today, I would personally pick USD as it can be used world wide and for a variety of purposes. However, if BTC were to stop being JUST a speculative asset I would contemplate making the switch. I like being in control of my cash without having to depend on some greedy bank!

Thoughts?

both have different concepts, and bitcoin is used for everyone, while USD is only used in a country that recognizes USD. well, maybe now, bitcoin and USD have their own advantages and disadvantages, however, I might prefer bitcoin for now.

No, do not compare the two in the same thing. That will be different, because the functions and places of the two currencies are different. BTC and USD have their own privileges, when you like to shop freely at the mall please use USD, but if you like the freedom to transact with the BTC world community is the choice.

I think both of them are the best in their own fields, so there is nothing bad.
I also think we should stop the discussion and compare bitcoin and usd because the difference in purpose that both are created is too obvious, everyone can recognize through all activities with bitcoin and usd. If people want to invest, people will choose bitcoin and want to turn the profit of investing in bitcoin into usable values, USD will be the ultimate destination for everyone, people don't use bitcoin for real life, and with different contributions in life, this comparison will never have accurate results, what is better, depends on our goals

As for me, I like BTC more than USD, because it doesn't have any control over you, and you don't need to report on income or from where there is this type of asset, it's quick and very convenient and has plenty of personality The ability to make you very interested in it.

My opinion is always BTC would be safer than any of the fiat currencies available right now. No matter how strong the USD is, it depends on the US economy as well as the situation of the entire world. Also it can be affected by the inflation of the country. But BTC is independent of the inflation and there will be a finite number of BTCs in the world once the production is stopped in the next century. As long as you keep those coins securely in your wallet, BTC will be a better choice than any fiat currency.

If you want more profit with more risk and short term choose bitcoin.long term, less risk and less profit, usd or other fiat moneys.if you especially ask for usd, its a bubble Smiley

Bitcoin will be a great option for the long term. But fiat can also be a good option too. It depends on us what we want to use. But we cannot compare between bitcoin and usd because that is different and bitcoin and usd have a different reason to help people. But both bitcoin and usd will allow people for making money so they can have a source of income.

You can still choose both like having us for cash purposes and on your digital assets, you can have Bitcoin. As long as digital currency can be reliable, holding Bitcoin is a good choice to make to have a higher gain.

Btc is better for investing and keeping in long-term, USD is better to make daily purchases, not to store value of course. But playing with USD and BTC you can make even more money if you know how to trade. Bitcoin will be worth more than $100 000 in 5-7 years, no any doubt about it. It's probably the best storage of value for our generation, as it's still undervalued without too much people joined. Can't be compared with 2015 or earlier, but still perfect.

I will go for bitcoin because bitcoin is more universal then the dollars, think of it this way to send bitcoin to any one in any part of the world is very easy and fast it transaction can be done at any time.
It's only valid when you are on the internet. But once you go to another country, then what would you do? You can't just ask people to pay something with Bitcoin because most likely they don't know what Bitcoin is and Bitcoin is not yet globally accepted to pay something.
There's nothing sense if we compared them, they have both differences the pros and the cons to each other that we must look up and better to pick them both. However, you are right bitcoin will not works without internet and do you think USD will work to it without internet? how could you send money far across to another country? Maybe you can have transaction near you, unlike bitcoin within a minute you can send to another as payment. But as what I have said earlier nothing to compete for these both currencies.

The main rule before you do crypto investing you must have free finance for this. And having allocated funds that you will invest, it is better to keep them in cryptocurrency to me. To respond quickly to market changes
The value of Bitcoin is that it is the first cryptocurrency created and there are no authorities to control it. Every private person can make an investment in Bitcoin and since its amount is limited, then the demand is high. This is definitely a valuable financial investment.
Cryptocurrencies are created for profit, then why not sell them? Money should always be on the move and Bitcoin is no exception. Of course, the risks of losing money are also high, but for this you need to improve your knowledge. I read trading strategies on taklimakan and also use their analytics to sell when it's profitable.
