Hello Mtgox
I have never encountered with delays transactions.
My 100 BTC so far lost.
I hope that this message will reach you weeks earlier.
I promise to spread this message everywhere including on the Russian forums.
Thanks
The sl317 user.

Look at the transaction hash they posted and review the BitCoin blockchain explorer.

Look up the transaction hash they posted against the blockchain explorer to see if it is legitimate.

It's probably the same double spend bug as always just that it becomes exponentially worse when transaction volume increases.

This ain't no API bug.

Or do you think their wire / SEPA / Japanese bank transfer system has the same bug as well?

They are going down, and taking everyone's money with them.

Looking at the Gox report (http://thegoxreport.com), I noticed two things:
1. the number of bad btc getting stuck in withdrawals from MtGox seems to be going up by about 5,500 btc a day, or roughly four million dollars a day.

2. Looking at the last chart, the amount of btc stuck looks to be parabolic, rather then linear, implying that every day more net btc are getting stuck then in the previous day. This also implies that whatever is going wrong at MtGox, it is only getting worse and worse every day.

Given these two points, what else is there to think then that Gox is finally at the end?

Very suspicious large withdrawals are failing - this could be the final goxxing

I agree.

Does anyone know of another service that offers BTC/USD rates as high as they do though?

Seems that is the ONLY thing going for them right now.

There are some crazy rates on localbitcoins but that is because everyone can set their own rate. No centralized exchanges offer anything close to Gox, because they are functioning as exchanges Smiley

Good point. Has anyone had a quick BTC withdrawal in last week? By quick I mean 48 hrs or less ...

If you take out less then 10btc it might go right through.
I've had both 5 BTC and 16 BTC withdrawals get stuck.  Others have tried sending 10 test withdrawals of just 0.1 BTC each, and usually at least half of those are getting stuck.

Smaller withdrawals stand a better chance, but there doesn't seem to be much logic is what is failing vs. succeeding...

I took out my last gox bitcoin 2 days ago. It didn't show up in the blockchain for 24 hours. I put in a support request with a link to the absent transaction on blockchain.info 24 hours ago and it turned up in another 24 hours. Get out in small chunks while you can, I'd say.

If little transactions are going through but big ones aren't, it's not a technical problem. They're broke.

My account is verified, and I made a BTC withdrawal on the 2014/01/25. The tx never made it to the blockchain, what is going on. Zero support either, for days. I am worried

I have the same problem, now 48 hours.  I decided to investigate and pulled all the TXs from https://data.mtgox.com/api/0/bitcoin_tx.php - i found my receiving address in there.  I then transmitted all of the transactions to the network.. the outputs on mine and over 200 other ones have already been spent, and the network rejects them immediately.

Seems like a problem with double spending, which would imply a race condition within their code, so no kind of locking in place to prevent this happening.

Pretty sure this has been discussed in the past, and the concensus is that when a transaction becomes 'stuck' for some reason that's not clear to me (bug?  fee too low?) and never makes it to the block chain, then Gox will invalidate the stuck transaction (by creating a 'pay-to-self' transaction using the same outputs) before trying again.

I am nearing 36 hrs. since I withdrew BTC.  My screenshot from Gox shows the withdraw to the proper address but like the rest of you, nothing has made the BC.  This is by far the longest I have ever waited.
