I have the same problem, now 48 hours.  I decided to investigate and pulled all the TXs from https://data.mtgox.com/api/0/bitcoin_tx.php - i found my receiving address in there.  I then transmitted all of the transactions to the network.. the outputs on mine and over 200 other ones have already been spent, and the network rejects them immediately.

Seems like a problem with double spending, which would imply a race condition within their code, so no kind of locking in place to prevent this happening.

MtGox - if this could be the case and you need advice on how to prevent it happening, please get in touch with me.  It doesn't matter which programming language you're using for this process I will be able to help you fix it if you need some help.

I don't think Gox are going to take you up on that offer for all kinds of reasons Wink

Mine is 48 hours now... did yours come through?

Broken BTC withdrawals from Gox are piling up bigtime.  There are nearly 200 broken transactions -- totaling almost 4000 BTC -- and some have been waiting more than four days!!  Most are stuck due to outpoints already spent.

And yes, 25% of my own BTC are currently stuck (26 hours and counting).

This is getting serious... VERY serious.

Oh dear. This is getting dire. First fiat, now bitcoins. Are Gox finally on the edge of disappearing with everyone's money? It wouldn't surprise me. There was never any logical reason not to process international wires for six months, unless they wanted to collect peoples' cash.

I still stick to my prediction that in 2014 MTGOX will have some sort of crisis or an all out disappearance and stopping of trading etc.

I tend to think that is a very good prediction. All the signs are there now.

My withdrawal is 24 hours now... no sign on blockchain at all. Is this normal?

Use this website to look up your withdrawal. This has happened before on Mtgox.

We're talking about BTC here not a different currency. Or do you mean they actually try to geolocate the owner of the address?

I've never seen anyone turn sugar to shit as efficiently as MtGox. What a sad story they've written.

Including claiming  they had rewritten their trading engine so it would lightning fast. Yet big lags still occur, even though trading is way down. Plus "we will incorporate litecoin trading in June 2013" or whatever the date was. Whatever happened to that.

Pathetic excuse for a company. But there are unfortunately still many of those in bitcoinland.

MtGox takes an EXTREMELY long time to do anything.

The ONLY reason they are still around because they have the best exchange rates for BTC/USD.

The other exchanges beat them in every other category hands down.

I have a withdrawal taking a long time. A much smaller withdrawal went through immediately, for what its worth.

To which country?
