I do not think that listing on CoinMarketCap is required for success. At CoinMarketCap now there are a lot of coins that do not have trades. I think it can only be advertising. Currently, I do not see that the coin had any special advantages.

Right, if that doesn't happen so easily, we've got options. The fastest one would be a trading competition/trading bounty for just Escodex (only real trades would count). That would make people more comfortable with it as well.
Perhaps nevertheless it is not our best option so just mentioned it in advance.

However, one observation was that the trading volume/activity of your asset is heavily concentrated on just one CMC-supported exchange (with negligible volume on the rest), which means that your asset is effectively traded on 1 exchange.
As such, please let us know (via this thread) once your asset is able to sustain higher levels of trading volume/activity across at least 2 CMC-supported exchanges so that we can evaluate your submission more closely."

I even don't wait for the next, especially from what we saw receivers dumped all their free coins. I appreciated the efforts of Bitcoin 2 team to run promotions and develop the project over months, especially keep it alive through the hard year of 2018. It is a tough year for all, and it's so good to see Bitcoin 2 moved through it. Thanks and waiting for your news later (should be positive news).It was steady at 5K to 5.5K Sats before the bounty campaign, As i remember there was a maintenance in crex24 and all orders has been cancelled that causes the price to dump harder. And all those buy support was gone and bounty hunters started to panic and unload their coins in the market.

I do still have some BTC2 on my web wallet staking 24/7 received from 2nd bounty. I'm still waiting for the good news regarding this coin and the upcoming bounty.

That's how it works if you're a bounty hunter once you receive dump it asap, they don't know how to appreciate its worth.

I think the best thing you can do with your Bitcoin2 coins now is staking them, get staking rewards, and waiting for next rides of Bitcoin 2. With negative effects from last promotions, I doubt that Bitcoin 2 team will decide to run same promotions in near future. I bought some coins at 4000 satoshis, and still hold and stake them.That's what im currently doing right now, staking and keeping my wallet open 24/7 for maximum staking rewards.
Listing on coinmarketcap does not helpful if the price can not rally from very low price, that lasted for months. Anyway, having something is better than having nothing. So, let's wait for good news from Bitcoins team and coinmarketcap, then might see something better.
Coinmarketcap listing is a big deal right now specially for a startup project like bitcoin2,
If Bitcoin2 got listed on CMC, Investors will find its way to the project and this is good in spreading awareness about the existence of BTC2.

Volume is getting higher now so it will likely be enough for CMC listing before the end of this month. (But how long the listing process takes is unknown.) After listed there, we'll be increasing marketing. And the listing itself should already bring new eyes on the project.
i don't think it should take that long once the requirement are met, it should something about a day or 2, it is not an exchange listing so it shouldn't be that stressful, once this has been achieved i believe it could bring the recognition about btc2 to many people, although i wasn't able to participate in the bounty but i picked up a few for insurance
