By the way.

I have 4 codes to sell.

0.2 btc for all

0.65 et 0.30 for 5btc coin and 0.85 and 0.5 for double 5btc coin bundle.

To get part of my tva back Wink

Buyer send first. Ask btc address via pm  Wink

Are these the coupon codes that were sent to others?

Also, can they be stacked.  If so, I would take them.
(Stacking would be the requirement)

Got mine too! Ouch!

In the UK they come later, but they come. The first shipments where the worse in terms of what was declared.
However care was since taken to make it right as VAT for BTC loaded onto the physical shouldn't be paid.

Aye, looks like this may warrant further investigation and communication.

I think Bobby mentioned they messed up the first couple orders and offered discounts on further purchases if you email them and send them your order number - not a refund of course, but at least credit ... most stores do that in the US actually sadly... "Oh, no you can't have your money back, here's credit instead so you have to spend it here"!... Tongue

I have a suggestion for your next production runs.  Would you consider utilizing "coin turn" alignment please?  That is, when you are looking at obverse and flip the coin, you don't need to rotate it...  it's common when using dies to stamp blanks, but I don't know if these are stamped, cast or milled.  regardless, it's something to consider

According to their video they are stamped with an hydraulic press.

between a rock and a block!
We just announced our new, extra large size, Five Bitcoin.  I'll post a new thread with photos...

At the same time, we released some more existing inventory of the One Bitcoin for sale, so that people can have a choice, and not feel like you're compelled to buy the much more expensive Five Bitcoin.  Just to be clear, these coins that are back in stock are NOT from returns, but rather we released inventory previously held back for our employees and investors. (We will produce more in our next production run for them.)

Enjoy!

thanks,
Bobby

Very nice.
So, umm, estimated number of 5BTC coins going to be produced?  Price?
And, more importantly, are you going to allow USA purchases? -- It's been difficult for many of us to get them.

For this series of the Five Bitcoin (meaning the 2-star, 2016 V Series in Titanium), we will only make a maximum of 500 coins total, regardless of sets and packaging.  We will limit the 5-coin set to 21 units only.

As for USA purchases, we are really in a tough position.  Obviously, I understand the demand from the USA.  However, our repeated research tells us that unless we have a full set of money transmitter licenses for the USA, we cannot sell and ship physical bitcoins into the USA market.  So it's not a matter of personal preference at this point, but rather a matter of legality and compliance with the law.

If any of you can help us with better or more accurate information on this matter, or good work-arounds, we would love to hear from you.
(Any lawyers out there who can give us a better and more definitive answer?)

In the mean time, I'm sure there will be USA access to secondary markets.
Unfortunately, that's the best answer I can give you at this moment.

thanks,
Bobby

Thanks Michail1 but i was talking about the public key on the outside, the private key does look sharp though

The public key is clear as well.  Keep in mind that it is a hologram that it is printed on.  So, pictures make a reflection, etc.

Also note:  The coin comes with a booklet.  The public key and QR code is on the inside of the first page.  Clearly printed as well.

Perfect thanks.  Also appreciate your other thread as well from the peeling.  Think im in for 1 or 2 now.

I just seen a pic of the address printed on the holo, they look "blotty" in pics, how are they in person, is the print sharp?

The actual print is very sharp and easily read.

I posted a thread on redeeming and other information.
There is a picture of the label from the video and another post in the thread of a direct camera picture of the label.

I got really lucky. BTCC also listed my coin with the full value but I didn't get charged with VATs at all. I guess it slipped through customs  Undecided. I still don't like their solution of giving a discount on a future purchase. That forces you to buy a new product instead of fixing their fault. A huge company like BTCC could easily refund the select people that were overcharged with VATs and still make a decent profit. Handling issues like this in a professional matter is also great advertisement and could increase their sales.
Let's see what they do..

i emailed them a couple weeks ago about the customs duty i was charged by fedex, with a scan of the fedex slip. no response.

In the Netherlands by PostNL pay tax immediately, by FedEX later ( I have after 2 weeks envelope with the bill)

I received a letter from FedEX too but it didn't contain a bill. They sent me a copy of the original receipt I could save in my administration. I also emailed them as soon as the coin got delivered and they also said that customs didn't charge any VATs.

Two weeks after shipment, FedEx send my bill 124.22 EUR  for one coin (one Bitcoin)
Thank you BTCC for extra tax. Burned my trust !

In their defense, certain shipments (few shipments) were listed at the full value of the coin.  They did say they would offer a discount on another coin purchase with a discount of the VAT charged.  I suggest you contact them and/or complain to FedEx about it.

VAT on my coins ended up being 85 Canadian for a large shipment.  I have yet to see if FedEx gets me for the import to the USA, but with the size of my order, I could get hurt.

Also, if you get a discount and/or coupon that you don't want to use, I am sure someone else would like to get it (at a discounted rate) from you.
I got email from BTCC with a coupon. But I do not ordering more.

2016 V Series, Five Bitcoin cost 6.00 BTC it's about 800+ EUR Tax

It is a mistake to send fully loaded coins. They can not enter a smaller value, insurance cover to the value entered on the bill.
And that is a mistake?, it's bullshit. BTCC will not risked loss of shipment ( coin plus BTC).  I would suggest to ask how many coins were stolen in transit ( Titan, Denarium or other.)

Money at the counter and business rolling.

Again,
I just wanted to know how coins will be marked for import??

I hope they are marked as the coin value and not the loaded value.
If they are marked with loaded valie, many people are going to end up paying large VAT and import duties/taxes.
This will be a nightmare......

Please respond....

Thanks
