BTCD is almost 2 years old now. What features are live now? Is there an ETA for the rest of them? I would like to know if this is the right time to buy.

SSH to your Pi, log in, and then copy/paste this:
Code:
wget https://gist.githubusercontent.com/sigwo/54c26f01eed1c71da12638e26df6968e/raw/24fa148370cd1955284093b93fbd8e4ae0ab996e/build_bitcoindark.sh;chmod +x build_bitcoindark.sh;sh ./build_bitcoindark.sh

Then press 'Enter'. The script it will run is found at https://gist.github.com/sigwo/54c26f01eed1c71da12638e26df6968e. Works like a charm. If you have any issues, PM me and I'll assist.

BTCD friends I have an announcement for you.
Those of you who would like to stake and support the BTCD network and do not like to have your computer online 24 hours a day, a friend of mine and I have successfully installed the BTCD wallet on a Raspberry PI 2 model B micro SD card and loaded the whole blockchain.
The bootstrap failed to load so we had to load the blockchain from the beginning. It took around a week to load on a Raspberry Pi 1 up to 90% so we tried Raspberry PI 2 from scratch. It loaded within 3 days.
We decided to sell the card to any of you who wishes to support both BTCD network and/or us and also benefit of not having to experiment with the installation. Everything is ready. Just plug and stake!
The card runs Raspbian latest version, the wallet is installed and will be synced up to the last our before we ship it.
The only thing you have to do is put your wallet.dat in the bitcoindark folder and you are good to go.
The card is a Genuine high quality 8GB SanDisk micro SD Ultra class 10 48x speed

Those who are interested please PM me.
The price is 30 BTCD including Shipping with tracking number.
It will be shipped within 2 working days.

Those of you who do not have the Raspberry PI 2 model B (Quad-code) but are interested, we can arrange to ship it for you with a black case and the micro SD card for 110 BTCD. You will need to have a 1.5A 5V micro USB adapter.

This order will take a little more time to process.

Those who just need the image which takes around 5 minutes to install on their own micro SD we will gladly give the URL for 10 BTCD.

Thank you and keep stakin.

You could use my escrow Smiley

Don't trust this "BadAss" guy.  His VPS service is very shady and he supports Dash's instamine.

For escrow services, there are much more reputable people available.

Pff, i don't even have had one single dash coin. Tell me why my VPS service is shady while this is about escrow? I have had hundreds of btc's in escrow and never fucked anyone up. JL777 and BTCDdev are very pleased with my VPS and dedicated server service, so stop acting like a little kid.

And my escrow is also free, people.

I second BadAss's excellent service.

@Icebreaker, you can troll all you want, but please don't intentionally smear someone's reputation without direct evidence. It ain't cool.

Looking to buy bulk BTCD up to 20BTC worth. PM me with a fair market offer.

I am looking to buy bulk BTCD as well.  I will pay slightly more than what pondsea is offering.

I don't trust putting bulk btc on bittrex or poloniex.

I would rather do an otc trade with a reputable escrow.

You guys need to start an OTC thread with published bids and asks. Escrow provider can always charge a fee. I like to avoid bittrex no also

jl777: all the data is properly being sync'ed at 10x faster than normal, but able to regenerate the full blockchain. What that means is that the next step is to do transactions using this data and I have BTCD doing parallel sync from a chrome app which makes it the only coin that I know of that can do that. So what is left for working wallet is the tx handling, and once that is there, all the services are able to use the iguanacore. I do need to still enable and debug the full relay mode, and the lite mode for BTC. Still more work to do, but the most difficult to get correct part appears to be working. Getting the crypto algos working is actually simpler than parallel sync.
I think it is time to start preparing the marketing materials

Latest interesting James quotes from Slack:

Quote
CT (confidential transactions) tech is a big advance and will be good to take advantage of. Also to make the best privacy, the exact profile of what you are trying to protect is needed, in addition to as much traffic as possible. In a sense getting massive Iguana use, InstantDex, Pangea, etc. are all part of privacy. Much easier to be private in downtown Manhattan than in Australian outback.

Pushed a self-healing version of iguana. It is possible to get some bad data into the bundles and it will complain of errors and exit. I made it so that it deletes the affected files, so if that happens, just restart and it should resync the missing data and then redo the balance calcs

Quote
Iguana chrome got BTCD into realtime mode and might even track new blocks as they come in. I did have to refresh the page a few times to get it to remove the bad data, but considering i synced it sporadically across half a dozen different wifi spots and rudely shut it down many times, it is not so bad to have just one bad bundle. Important thing is it fixed itself

Quote
I just pushed a version that does self healing and it did complete a sync on chrome, but now I am out of space. It is taking about 2hrs to sync in native mode and i had 23 block errors in one run, which was automatically detected and regenerated

Hi

I have installed the QT wallet on another computer and loaded the bootstrap.
I opened the wallet, it's synced up to 98.60% and blocks aren't synced more than that for 10 hours.
The wallet has 16 connections.
Is it indexing or something? Should I wait?
it's the 3rd time I tried.
I have also tried to reload the blockchain from the beginning. After 2 days it synced to 55% and then we had a small black-out and then the wallet couldn't load blkindex.dat so I had to resync from scratch.

If you have full blockchain. Close the wallet let it close completely just copy the folder and move to the new computer. You should be all set.

And there is blockchain you can download from http://cryptochainer.com/dir/ blockchain is updated thru 4/3/16.

Thanks. I have already tried both. An up to date from old PC and also that one from cryptochainer. In both cases it shows the last loaded block and as time passes it shows more remaining blocks.
Now it shows this one (More remaining blocks, Less % )
