What does it mean? Hone skill on poker? I know you really need to play long enough to get some experience but that is not possible if you are not going to use some money as your starting balance.

There's no rake at our 1-2 NLH table Marisa. And with 1000 free chips you can practice quite a lot.

That's right, you can play hundreds of games on table Marisa with your bonus chips. I practice there myself since I'm not a great poker player yet. Smiley

Just wondering how many of you guys have registered on the site already?

I can see that there are Players online: 14 right now, but I don't know how many of them came from this forum.

It's impossible for us to give a precise answer to this question as not all players send us an email when they sign up. We have been, however, giving every new player 1000 bonus chips regardless of where they come from and we will continue to do so until the end of the month.

4 bonus players have requested a withdrawal after collecting 100 points and these have been processed

It is not important where the players comes from, as long as they are real players and active playing on the ring games. I have checked few times and the active players are always the same means that there is no significant number of new players. Some players has more than 100k (worth 0.1btc) chips already, makes me wonder are they players who make deposit or they won it from the free sign up bonus.

And btw there is no free credit for us to play on poker games right? More over I do not really think that you would want to spend more money on some free credit here in case someone won big, people will call them abuser

There is a free 1000 chips worth 0.001btc to try, read the OP carefully before judging the site cant afford to lose some money on free credit. Of course it is not 100% free because you need to get 100 bonus points before you can withdraw your balance. I was up to 9000+ chips but unlucky me I'm back down to 2000, nice to see some active players on the ring games. At least the site is not empty..
For you BTCevo, you can register and ask them for the free chips. Good luck

That's right, it's not so easy to get those 100 bonus points, but since it's absolutely free why not to try?

Not every gambling site gives you $2.5 worth of bitcoin just for your registration. I think especially for those who want to learn how to play poker, like myself, it's a good opportunity.

So I was wondering if I ever wanted to try a poker game would this one be a good one to try and see if it is right for me?
I wanted to get into poker but never have.
Since everybody goes to use pokerstars but you need to be a pro player to expect to win playing those people and to even compete long enough to not lose all your money.

For those of you wanting to hone your skills we have just set up a beginners' table NL Holdem 1/2 with NO rake. Table name Marisa.

How does the bonus points calculated? How many chips needs to be played for 1 bonus points? Sorry for asking this simple question but I cant find it on your site or in this thread?

Good point, we will add it to our FAQ page. You receive 0.08 bonus points for every 1 chip you pay in rake.

We recently purchased the website from the guys who originally built it and they have given us all the passwords including the login details to bitcointalk. They've never gotten past bonus money players and we are ready to invest in marketing so it can take off.
So who do you have on your team ? Pretty sure not the developers who originally built the site. You know you do need to have the developer who coded it initially if in future further code changes are required.
Someone needs to handle the technical part of the site anyway.

We work with the original developers. I flew to meet with them a couple of months ago and we made a deal.
And yes, you are right, it's work in progress and changes will have to be made on a regular basis. Not to mention the maintenance and various glitches that we come across as we are testing the software.

Registration complete. Email verified. Email sent to info @btckings. Sun-visor, check.
I'm ready to play.

Hey, I don't see any player by the nickname Sun-visor. Are you sure you verified your email address correctly?

Every new account has been credited with bonus chips.

I remember this site because I have registered since long time ago. Just checked my account again and my bonus chips that I got long time ago is still in my account. Played it and double my chips, needs more players to be a great poker site. Need more tournament as well, freeroll will also be a good addition.

Yes, there were several accounts when we purchased the site. Needless to say we will honour any and all balances and you will be able to cashout as soon as you collect 100 bonus points which should not take too long even at the lowest limits.
