Bitcoin has made a very high significant gain today and I seriously believe that big investors may start to sell off very soon. I have seeing this happen in the past and it might repeat itself again as the market is growing.

Hello bitgolden, leyton11 and everyone

I will be adding from the dips. These dips can also go lower than 8870, so bet wisely and dont over leverage.

Trading normally respects technical far more than fundamental. Fundamental is more like news, both good and bad type. They can disturb flow of trend and make a trader lose big but technical is slow to act on the account.
Fundamental means that if the market is still bullish, because Fundamental will make a big increase to the coin, see BCD is currently up 15% because in the next few days there will be Halving. this is an example

Hello Bitcointalk community

I have been watching the BTCUSD charts lately, and it seems to really respect the technical more than any other instrument I have seen in the past.

Would it be ok if I share my BTCUSD charts here with you a couple of times a week? To predict the next price movement and prove to you that trading
BTCUSD using technical analysis is the way to go.

Best Regards,
That's good, I want to hear from many people about the trend of bitcoin in the short term to make it easier to trade. Technical analysis is also a very good and necessary knowledge, we share together and learn together too great. I am only good at fundamental analysis because I am a long-term investor. Would you like to discuss the basic analysis with me?

No surprises on this. Because when a commodity is backed with huge volume then the chances for getting manipulated by one or two traders nor by group of traders is very low. When is a less room for manipulation then technical analysis will be actual mover for such markets. Bitcoin's market capitalization is around 160 billion dollars hence you can literally assume all technical analysis will be perfectly working on bitcoin markets almost all the times.

Like people have already suggest to you, speculation board must be more appropriate for sharing charts on regular manner. On this trading discussion board you can help us to understand technical analysis/strategies better.

a. You may move this topic to speculation board. Option for moving is available at the bottom of this page (left hand side).
b. You may start a new topic on this board for explaining about your technical analysis in depth. We will love it to have to sharpen our knowledge on technical analysis further.

Hello alani123, exstasie, nelson4lov, Paycoinzzz, XZERO1, ryzaadit, GreatArkansas, Darktongue

I appreciate all your inputs.

The price went up yesterday 9280 before reversing down to hit my Stoploss at 9100 (I use a trailing stoploss)... Current price is 9080

The BTCUSD has shown weakness signs and I think that the risk of betting on a revisit to the down red trend line has increased. I need to find a better
risk:reward ratio. I believe BTCUSD should dip lower. Moreover, dips will be recovered fast.

I will be adding from the dips. These dips can also go lower than 8870, so bet wisely and dont over leverage.

I think you can share your chart or speculation in other section, not here.
You can share it under Bitcoin Forum > Economy > Economics > Speculation.
But you can still share it here since it is also about trading.

My advice if you will share some chart here, it's much better if you can also explain your chart and also provide some area if your chart become invalidate. And also a piece of good advice if your ever will create a new thread, you should monitor it and close/lock it after your chart is outdated so we can avoid some spammers or low-quality posters to use your thread.

Sure, freely to share your own charts.

I also supported this, but please don't always share about a random image/website on the internet without giving some explanation from the charts. Would be good, if you can explain the charts not give us a bunch of images. If you can also teaching people a variety of tools trading and different technique to do analysis by using technical analysis was also good.

Maybe, if the thread was really interesting will trying to give some spots of your thread to report it on merits source thread. To make some appreciate of your effort, we don't really have an interesting thread at this board.

I have been watching the BTCUSD charts lately, and it seems to really respect the technical more than any other instrument I have seen in the past.

Bitcoin seems to follow technical analysis more now because since the pandemic bitcoin is following stocks market closely and if you take a look at the charts for SPXUSD and BTCUSD from the pandemic they look almost identical. bitcoin actually was known to be one of the few assets that is very unpredictable even by using technical analysis and different indicators but the current world condition changed the way bitcoin moves significantly.

Best Regards,
It is perfectly fine to predict the price of BTCUSDT according to TA, but to increase the chances of winning when trading, we should also consider basic analysis. In my opinion the market looks like it is about to face another strong sell-off from investors. We are starting to see cases again soaring again in the US and neighboring countries, and services and industries have yet to return to normal operations. That is the clearest sign that the economy is stagnant and sooner or later the financial market will be affected as well.
That's my analytical direction for the crypto and stock markets in the short term, do you have other ideas?

Sorry for the dumb question, how can I attach the chart? Cant seem to find the file attachment button.
Cheers

To attach an image, you need to wrap them in img bbcode  tags like this:
Code:
[img]img-link-here[/img]

Do note this:

Q: I can't post / embed an image and I'm a newbie. Why?
A: Embedded images have been disabled for newbies due to abuse (see https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/images-in-posts-disabled-for-newbies-1172918). You'll be able to post images when you become Jr. Member or if you pay a small fee. See more: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/newbies-can-now-pay-a-small-fee-to-enable-images-2385104.

Also, Here's a link with guide on how to organize your content (embedding links, images, quoting, making tables and lists etc):

Do well to share your analysis and thoughts with the community. Other users might learn a thing or two from your analysis. One of the best ways to learn and absorb more knowledge is to share and get reviews and comments from other members about your analysis. If you can't embed charts, you can use texts for now. I'm keeping an eye on this thread for further updates.

Hello Subbir ... Exstasie ... Harlot and everyone

The USDBTC should have another leg up from here as it seems to be building support. Current price 9150

Stoploss: Below 8870

Target: 9750

Lets see how this trade works out.

Sorry for the dumb question, how can I attach the chart? Cant seem to find the file attachment button.

No attachments, just links. You first need to upload your chart (or a screenshot) to a site like https://imgur.com/upload. Then just post the image link here.

You're more than free to share your charts and predictions but criticism in the forum is usually a bit more harsh than usual unless you're showing bullish signals.
If you're after BTCUSD analysis though, I'm sure you'll love the wall observer thread. It's the largest and overall most active thread in bitcointalk through time. Most of the happenings related to BTC price are discussed there.

Overall I think this forum is quite welcoming to speculation. So long as you're not making outlandish claims, and aside from some bias towards negative predictions, bitcointalk is perhaps among the most friendly online forums to speculation about BTCUSD.

No need to show your demo account since all you need to do is to post your technical analysis here which includes the chart and the explanation of the indicators you have used while making your analysis, members always tend to get back on your analysis if you have accurately predicted the price movement or not. Creating 1 thread for your predictions might be the most appropriate one rather than creating multiple threads in each analysis because it will clog up the section.

Absolutely. I suggest creating your thread on the Speculation board: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=57.0

Should I post access to a demo account to  execute the trades on with the proper money management to verify
the winners and losers. So unlike most threads on the internet, were winners get praised and losers are buried or
even forbidden to be spoken about!

would that be a good idea?

Screenshots of your positions should more than suffice, and honestly that's overkill. Unedited posts stating your opinions and/or open positions is good enough in my book.

I'm more interested in your charts and TA than the trades themselves. Smiley

It's good that you've been tracking the price of BTC, actually it is one of my advices for newbies like you ( I assume because of your forum rank ) You can share it with us, this forum is open for analysis like what you are making so you'll know our sentiments about it. But speaking honestly with you, what I think of technical analysis ( TA ) is useless with the current market situation, there have been tons of TA junked because of very unpredictable movement of the market, though there are some right prediction it is not as accurate as it supposed to be.
