Anyone able to withdraw btc with KYC currently? I will go through the KYC process but trying to find out if I can withdraw BTC once that's done or not.

I'm in the same boat. Not sure if I'm ready to go through the KYC verification, since I don't have THAT much funds over there. I asked the Bter support if they are keeping the verifications for themselves or if they share the data to third parties automatically. What do you people think about this?

zokzok , Please tell us if the KYC-verification worked out or not.

directly from my personal experience, I will never suggest to anyone to send anything to this exchange.
Too many lies, terrible support, wallet doesn't synchronized... and much much more...
Why send an IMPORTANT personal document with sensible info to such potential scammers :O ?

Individuals don't trust BTER the best choice is to get you bitcoins out of there this moment. BTER has been associated with past trick organizations and a great many people don't care for utilize this trade. There are better alternatives out there. On the off chance that they are not restoring your coins, contact their client support and influence the protest to immediately. This sort of issue could be a transitory glitch in the framework or might be some shady stuff they are doing to take your bitcoins. So do whatever you are going to as quick as you can and get your bitcoins out of there.

bter.com seems to be rebranding/swapping over to gate.io

You can log into gate.io with your same username and password, and then transfer over your balances.  Withdrawls from gate.io were processed immediately for me, I was able to withdraw about $1000usd in various coins with no issues.  Obviously ymmv, but if you were unable to extract your funds before you should give it another shot.

I made the biggest mistake signing up and depositing 0.15 BTC. Quickly realized, shit, i cant withdraw from this because of "local policy" go figure. So i converted to Zcash at a loss fast and got out faster than fast. Increadible loss really. Cut and run, cut and runnnn! Embarrassed

I did not do the KYC thing by the way. Everything took about 2 hours until i figured out how to get here, get the info and how to get out without surrendering my ID.

withdrawal is not possible for anyone because bter is a scam site.

if it was KYC they must have a compliance officer right?
who is the compliance officer?

they will just sell your id like scammers do.

hey guys you should know the answer, I did not KYC passport upload but if I click on 'BTC withdrawal' it shows 20 BTC daily withdrawal limit.
Is KYC stuff needed to do any withdrawal or only to bypass 20 BTC daily limit?

Thanks!

I was able to withdraw my money from BTER today (without KYC procedure) via EOS tokens, recently added to BTER exchange market.

Hope this helps.

they're a chinese exchange. chinese exchanges were prohibited from allowing withdrawals. i think that's now over so you can withdraw if you do the kyc thing.

that applies to an exchange that's legit. bter is not legit so don't expect it to be trouble free.

That ain't good. Try contacting the support team to help resolve the issue. It may be a little error from their end and hopefully it gets resolved soon, most especially since you aren't the only one involved.

Do you think that is a deliberate act, and if they do, they will certainly not allow you to make any payments, even if you contact support, and they respond, but they will. Look for reasons to deny it.

What is the message you are getting. Can you upload a screen shot or type it out?

Is your account verified? And at what level of verification? Most places have multiple levels. Are you at your withdrawal limit by any chance?

Says my daily withdrawal limit is 20btc.. im doing less..

Error message is this "BTC withdrawal is temporarily disabled due to the local policy."

What does it mean?
Well 2 choices:
-They try to leave with the money and to screw you
-They have a hot wallet problem, someone made a withdrawal a bit too important and hot wallet is empty. Just wait a bit for them to fill it again!

Or maybe they just applying the new regulation for btc withdrawal Smiley asking the KYC.
They don't need to scare anybody also their business is due to new deposit Smiley , it was already reported in this topic : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=956738.1360;topicseen the heavy problem related to btc withdrawal with bter.
As already suggested best solution is using ZCASH!
