Let me chime in now since i just woke up and seen this conversation. First let me address the issue of how much i earn from the house edge. WE EARN .5% OF HOUSE EDGE ON BETS. NOT ANYWHERE CLOSE TO 50%. If i earned 50% of the house edge id be making enough i wouldnt feel the need to gamble. For every 1btc wagered on any moneypot app the app owner will earn .005btc if his house edge is 1%.

I think most people are very mislead on this issue and need to be educated. Honestly the app owners make pennies unless we have alot of bettors on 24/7.


Now lets talk about my weekly wagered contest. My money is no different then anyone elses. If i lose, i lose just like you all. It doesnt go right back into my pocket, or 50% back into my pocket as some of you might believe. I take my beats right along with everyone else.

Our weekly wagered contest is actually very good for the players as if im lucky i barely break even for each week. We are giving away a total of .1375 each week to players. Thats nearly 100% of what we earn most weeks, so im making very little each week, and most weeks im losing money just hosting the contest.

Now as far as me winning the contest, i feel i am eligible to claim a prize. I wager just like all of you. I do not ever take 1st prize(even though i should), i will always take the 2nd place prize if im in 1st place for the week.

We have 2 games where you can wager a ton in a day on a smaller balance. Roshambo and bullseye are 2 very good games to wager alot. So if you see some has 1btc wagered and is in 1st, he can easily be beaten in a day if you play long enough and wager correctly.

I would like to share a strategy for all of you to maybe help you out a bit. Go to roshambo open auto betting. Set your wager to 0.1 and multiply on loss x2. Yes its martingale but it works. Your bet only doubles on a loss. So on a draw it will rebet same wager. On a win you profit .1 of course, but the point is to get alot wagered for leaderboard. This works out perfectly for this.

Player dragonwarrior messaged me and asked how to wager alot so i shared this with him. He said he only had .05btc is that enough. Its plenty guys. He wagered 80000 bits in a few hours of letting bot roll and profitted .003btc. Also got him on leaderboard for the week for another .0025 prize.

Im not sure why everyone seems to be making a fuss about this , Im asking question here. Wether or not he is counted doesnt really concern me. What concern me is that if he is included I wont have enough time for the first place which means that there is no point in trying to get it , it is just that

I'm sure yahoo won't be included on his own contest he usually pick the winning user after his name if he's on the top spot. When I was betting here long time ago someone hit the jackpot on the old bubblesbit the most wagered player on that day will get a slice of the jackpot but yahoo was on  the top spot during that time so he gave the reward to the next user.

well, as i see it there is some kind of advantage if the owner/s are joining the contest they are running, it is not fair to all of their players if thats what they are doing. remember that every wager made on their app (either made by owners or players) they will get 50% of the house edge so basically when the owner is joining the contest they are risking less money into it

Wanted to chime in on this. I also see nothing wrong with Yahoo taking a leaderboard position on his site. Whether Yahoo is betting or some other player, everything is treated the same with regards to all other players and investors themselves, so there's no issues with this at all.

I know some have an issue on the basis that "you're winning your own contest," but I've personally never had an issue with that. He's not doing anything unfairly or having any special advantage nobody else has.

I may be wrong on this but I think Yahoo has to be considered fir leaderboard prizes purposes. After all tbeing their site implemented into MonetPot owners profit comes from wagered but beside this aspect owners are not different from normal players: when they lose their bets amount are deducted from player balance and goes into MP bankroll and contrary happen for win. So when yahoo wagers that amount he is risking his pocket money just like us. Only difference is he gains back a tiny amount on his bets amount back from MP as site commissions.
I wouldn't se anything weird if he will be considered in leaderboard.

I dont think he is counted on the wagering competition, otherwise it will be so funny to see other players compete with the owner of the site. If till the end of the competition and Yahoo still on first, I think the 2nd player will be the first winner. I'm sure yahoo do not want to get the prize of his own competition.

Just wondering, I saw yahoo's name on the top of the weekly wagered does it mean I have to beat him to get the first prize or wont he be counted for the weekly wagering? It is kinda funny to see the owner take place however if he is counted then surely Im out of this week as I wont be able to catch up to him

I agree with you when I dropped by the site to play slide dice and saw roshambo on the bottom list the name got my attention right away so I played that first instead of trying slide dice.

Roshambo is actually a commonly known words for the game rock paper scissors. I dont know where it comes from but most people will know what roshambo means especially if you live in america. Doesnt matter though what the name for the game is however using rock paper scissors for that is a waste of space for the name

Indeed the chosen name "Roshambo" sounds strange for common people and perhaps they choose to make people curious about it then people will come to the site and check what the game is. It is like a strategy to attract people imho

Also, you gotta capitalise the first letter of the games in the dropdown menu... "Play dice" triggers my OCD.

Great, this is the first time that i saw something like this though. But wanna ask something though, if this have any effect on our result? Because the gameplay is still the same as usual dice games. Like you said it no longer limit us that if you bet under it is 49,5 but if you make your payout 2x, this will just be the same right or may be i can say that this will be more harder to predict the result. Anyway well done to make something different on dice games
