It's funny that the majority of the complaints are from tools with paid sigs.

Calling people tools is a bit harsh. The time limits don't bother me now as they're virtually non-existant, but they did as a newb when you lost posts you'd written out, so I can understand peoples' frustrations, especially when they're trying to get paid for their posts.

42 activity and 1400 posts... that sets off some red flags.
Hm, so he made 1.4k posts in ~2 fortnights...
Edit: Ah ha!

What's funny about getting paid 0.4 bitcoins for a few weeks worth of posting? And what do my stats and boards posted in have to do with anything?

What flags might those be? I enjoy contributing here and getting paid for it in the process. Don't think there's anything wrong with that.

Ha, well can you blame us? It is annoying when we're trying to post and getting shafted by it, but I guess it wont be so bad when we reach higher status and don't have to deal with such time-restrictions.

It's not a bug, it's a feature!

But seriously, wait until you level-up in activity and it'll pass.

It's true.  You don't to allow new accounts, which could be bots, to be able to spam the boards with useless and pointless posts.  Definitely helps keep it clean.
If you have an issue with it..post more!

I think it goes away after your activity hits 28. Not sure though.

Agreed. Recently my activity changed from 14 to 28 and from now I don't have any limits while posting Smiley

You still have limits:

72 seconds in your case.

How is activity calculated? Time logged in?

The activity number is determined in this way:
time = number of two-week periods in which you've posted since your registration
activity = min(time * 14, posts)

Well I believe you're just talking about the limitation that you have to wait 6 minutes between posts. This always happens before a post no matter how much time has passed and whether you have actually written any other posts, and it seems rather pointless?

If all this is on purpose, they should probably do something to inform the newbies about it in the warnings ^^

Wow, PrimeDice seems to be the thing now!  I remember when inputs.io's signature deal was all the rage.

Yeah, there seems to be more and more people signing up. Can't blame 'em. It'll be interesting to see if bitsplay.ga pays out though and how many people jump ship.

This is quite annoying for sure, especially when I'm trying to get some posts in for my signature deal, but I understand why it's there.

Time is money, people  Cheesy.

Edit, goddamit it got me on this post  Grin

it's a rule for newbies and it's very annoying, you won't be under the influence of that rule as soon as you get the "Member" Title though and the limit moves to a post every 60 minutes.
