Only those people who believe in this technology will extend their patient to wait for the bull run as this will come and will surprise us all. The rally that we have last year was unexpected and many investors did not believed how the price reached $20k in just short period. This shows how strong a bull run in this technology.
I think this shows "how much greedy hamsters are here in crypto". And They paid for their greed in full price.Market is in depression now, even Bakkt and ETF will not "Activate" Bull run now. We just need to wait some time: until it will be profitable for whales to start next bull run.
Greed can be hard to measure but in some way or another we have to admit that we are all motivated by our own self-vested interest here in cryptocurrency (the same thing with any other business or industry as people are motivated on what they can get out of something). Greed is a basic part of human nature and if properly managed this can be put into good use. However, we know that so much of anything can be good for someone's health and the same thing is true with cryptocurrency too much greed can cloud one's clarity of purpose and judgement leading to some disasters that we could have avoided in the first place.
I had some feelings that bitcoin bullrun will not happen this year. There are some price upticks or short uptrend and some bulltraps to happen instead but no new all-time high. I also believe that bullrun will not happen again after two years unless there is a significant or big developments related to the coin that could pump it to another price surges. Unexpected price surges happens but it is mostly rare and if this happen, traders and holders might be caught by surprise.
IMO, it's troublesome to get a bull run this year. Look forward to 2019 and hope the cryptocurrency market, as well as the market economy situation, will recover again. Only the improvement of the new economic situation can help cryptocurrency increase rates again.
We hardly can't get into the bull run for this year. But like the norm that we've been believing at this moment, every end of the year the price goes up but right now its different. A bull can be surprising but right now, I don't want to cut the expectation of most, we need to accept the fact that no bulls for this year.
Of course, everyone here is waiting for the bull run to happen but don't know how long it will take. Many people are expecting to happen before the end of the year but we have to wait and see how far it will take.

Yeah, i agree to that bull run is far more to think for now that in the Q4 we haven't seen yet the good pump. We cannot expect that it will be a surprise because bearish is even more surprising if we bottom lower than the last previous lows.

Relentlessly I've been feeling so low after all upon seeing the price dropped 10% and continually it goes down at the dipped value now.
I tried myself not to be stressed with the current downfall happening, and just think of a positive drive that could give me enough strength to handle situations like this that bull run can be surprising.

It can be surprising since the price are volatile it can be low and high. And we do not know when it will happen to have the price to increase. Yes it will soon rise and I believe it will recover so let us be patient.

The experts has their place in the market, and I believe, many of them can guess better, when, and what will happen, than random people, but not 100% accuracy, not even close. There are some indicitors IMO, which can drive to a bull run, like the ETF would, but even before that, I could imagine, the the "bulls just surprise us", as you have written.
But today if you see bullrun run again it may be difficult, it is impossible for the market to grow, so in my opinion should not expect too high, profitable should sell should not wait muscle Assembly will be very difficult to become.

The vast majority of the dip seems to have gone, any remaining dips should be minor - and there is strong evidence now of big support at current prices, so this should set us up for a bull run. We are all expecting it, but it has not started yet. I expect something to happen in the next few weeks, but I think people will remember last year and there should be some rises, but there will be resistance to huge rises.
Anytime bull run can be surprised us like last happening last year we did not expect that bitcoin huge increase and many people are get a huge profit. So I think it will happen again we don't know when but I believe bull run will happen.
