HODL was a wrong typo that someone did on this forum once mistakenly, and then it became a symbol for holding crypto for long term. Obviously that would be a different situation in the end but that doesn't mean that we are going to end up with a loss if we hold long term.

I personally believe that the best thing to do would be making sure that we are profiting from it as much as we possibly could. The best way for this would be just letting it be and I believe that we should end up with a profit that would make us richer. Holding long term until Q4 of 2024 or even longer than that should give us a good profit, because long term holding has always been the most profitable thing to do with crypto and nothing else profits that much.

DCA is not that hard and even with that there are a lot of people who do not understand how to use it properly. I get that it is not going to be something that matters that quickly, so it should not be an issue but that doesn't mean that we are going to end up with an issue for the long term. If you can just simply accumulate bitcoin and some good decent alts as well, then you are going to be making a profit during that period.

This is such a simple idea and yet there are a lot of people who fail to do it for some reason. I personally never had any trouble with DCA nor had any trouble making any profit thanks to that as well. It should be a normal thing for many people to keep doing this way of profiting from crypto.

The halving is the moment we have been waiting for, and before it happens, many investors will start investing to wait for that moment to come, but no one knows for sure what will happen, therefore I think it is likely that at the end of 2024 or early 2025 there will be a bull run. possible. but we must not be careless if it doesn't happen, so don't be discouraged, remembering that sometimes what happens seems to put us off

I think this is the cycle where we get mainstream adoption and legal clarity. They want to transition us into digital ID and CBDC. They need to bring down the old system (banking and stocks) to do it. If they didn't bring it down, there would be no incentive for people to switch to CBDCs and lots of resistance. If they give people UBI in their digital wallet, most will go for it.

this always the question for bearish that seemed to be never ending but seeing from history of pump and dump and also the bullish trend im pretty faithful that in 2024 bitcoin bullish will come.
but there's also chance that bitcoin would never hits its all time high again and would just stabilise around $30k.
its all uncertain future but what we can do is just DCA and accumulate that's the only way to get most of the next bull season if it ever comes.
moreover the fact that there are many popular figure trying to shill for bitcoin, i'm sure in the future new all time high could be achieved again.

there are lot of saying about the occurrence but it is not completely to happen ,
though yeah saying tells us that in 3rd quarter of 2024 or at least 4th quarter. but if not comes those duration then surely in the 1st quarter of 2025 but this not happened in the past so hope that it will not happen same net bullrun.
but if you are willing to keep and hold then this will never be an issue .

This is why dollar cost averaging or DCA is becoming a trend in this forum which makes sense. It is very hard to catch the exact start of the bull run and also the exact dips so I am also convinced that it is better to just make a monthly DCA. I just started my DCA last year and I am glad I was able to buy bitcoin at $15k levels.

As for the altcoins, I am still losing most of them. I guess the best way to DCA altcoins is only ETH and the other at the top of the ranking. I am looking forward to adding more DOGE. I am expecting the peak of the bull run to happen in 2025 but it will start anytime next year.

I could be wrong but in the future if there is any bullrun, i'm sure the main cause wouldn't be halving but something else, maybe institutional investors making a move again we don't know for sure.

Yes, you could be wrong because bullish comes with an expected huge impact on the market price and another project hype. But, whatever it is, people are still expecting huge profit during that time which also give them a reason to stay strong and accumulate more potential coins. I was certain that all the efforts that I made would be rewarded but of course, I have to wait longer for we're not sure that bull season will come in Q4 next year. But for now, I take the chance of buying and filling my bag more for this is probably the last chance before the price arises.

There is no altcoin halving. There is only bitcoin halving. But based on the bitcoin halving altcoin prices will rapidly increase. I think it will happen in 2024. What happened is that the demand is increasing more than supply around that time. Because everyone talking about it. Also, new users will be joining and new addresses will be created.

That is going to be a tough call, I feel like the start of the bull run could be 2024 but I think if that's the case then it will be the end of 2024 that will be the start of it and 2025 will be the time it ends it, so majority of the deals will happen during 2025 if you ask me.

That could be wrong, maybe I do not know what I am talking about and maybe it will all happen within 2024 and be over, but I think it takes a bit of time after the halving for the price to start going up, not like we are going to have halving and next morning price will be x2, I believe it will take some time and should be something quite important. I know that it is going to be a hard one but lets try to make sure that it is going a different way.

Are you expecting altcoins to have a separate bull run? I don't think that's really going to happen because the market generally moves up and down with Bitcoin, and if Bitcoin's bull run is over, there will be no bull runs for altcoins and people shouldn't really keep holding their coins, and tokens hoping that there will a separate bull run for altcoins and then they will sell their assets. I have never seen that happening in the past and I don't think things have changed.

Altcoins will start going up along with Bitcoin because when people start investing, they invest in altcoins as well and that is what causes the bull run in the first place. There will be no bull run if there is absolutely no demand for Bitcoin or altcoins, if more people are not willing to buy, the ones who bought earlier won't be able to sell their coins at a higher price.

Yeah, definitely which is the reason why we assume it will go up. Doesn't mean that it will, but at the very least it means that if the same thing happens we are going to see a huge bull run and there is no reason not to have that. I know that it will take some time but we need to wait for that to come. When the bull run comes, we are going to see if we are right or not.

The only difference is that Q4 is too specific, maybe the bull run will happen in Q3 who knows. Last time it was April that saw it at high, then crashed, then saw it high again, so we do not know how it will happen, maybe it will be distributed to two again, maybe it won't be and in a single day it will increase. We do not know exactly how it will happen, we just know that it will go up.

Well, I'm going straight - maybe YES or maybe NO. We can see the answer when the halving time has come but based on my experience in the previous halving, the market goes wild after the event. But we have to remember that the market condition had already changed due to the changing behavior of the investors and traders. That is why even some of us had witnessed the Bull Run after halving, that quite uncertain this time. We need to be prepared but I will tell you OP that - trust is very important, and I hope you will because many others do the same and so I am.

It's still remain a speculation. There's no guarantee if bitcoin will be repeating the same pattern as before. I told you that if bitcoin has been making a new record as the coin is in the longest bearish trend. Bitcoin was almost in bearish trend for 2 years.
The bullish trend can come even longer than what you have predicted. It seems like that people are not always reacting positively about halving right now.
It's caused by there's no guarantee if the market wil increase again as the previous years. People were counting on the bullish trend to help them recover their lost.

back in the days it is Solana that I am eyeing but now? yeah i have small trust in Ethereum and Binance but not for so long time in BNB because the risk is always there.
