I can never seem to load my wallet anymore so I can stake. I just indefinitely sits in the state of "loading blockchain index".... This is after I just deleted everything except wallet.dat and re-synced the chain...

Any ideas? I'm using 1.3

The vast majority share of CBX trading occurs at Cryptsy. Cryptsy has been and continues to be a valuable and trustworthy partner and we hope this will continue for many years to come. That having been said, we do have other trading platforms available to us. It seems that it would be a beneficial step for us to help and boost the volumes of these other exchanges so we as a community are not over expended in any one central point. I know people have voiced opinions on one or the other, each with unique benefits. Let's open up this discussion and vote to help prioritize these exchange platforms so we can focus on them one at a time. Primary concerns should be security and trust in my opinion but we should also consider volume, potential investor exposure and of course trading fees and withdrawal/deposit limitation.

Agree. As soon as we have completed the PoSP fork and got the Promo Card project momentum going, we will be able to put some more attention back into the physical backing project. The groundwork is there already though so anyone can participate now. This is all designed to fit together like a puzzle.

It is good that they are transparent about their liquidity, but if you look on their liquidity page you'll see that the sum of cold and hot BTC wallet is 29% less (20 BTC) than what they owe their customers.

That doesn't look like an exchange where I want to put my money...

I had created an account at Banx.io a while back; I'll certainly go pay them a visit to see if I can help build this CBX market...

Some good news for CryptoBullion, CBX has just been added to https://www.banx.io exchange.
Blockchain is all synced up and market is open for trading.    


This is one exchange I hoped would add CBX being one of the coins i support (i think i may have mentioned it in the past in the old CGB thread when it was still atomic)
it has a minimalist style (themes to suit color preferences), multi language interface, high security and an attention to quality that shows in features, and transparency not commonly seen or existent on the larger exchanges.  Its also never been hacked or compromised which is not a claim many exchanges can make these days.
I've found it to be a well managed alternative to the bigger exchanges, and never had any major issues or lost/locked out of my coins there.  Which is why i've had in my signature space for a while (and the referral which gives some ATP reward)
Exchange has been around for 2 years, previously known as Atomic-Trade, developed entirely from scratch by Byron who now is the lead dev/admin after he sold to and joined the Banx Team which rebranded it to Banxio earlier this year.
 
Its a good exchange for CBX imho as there is not an excessive number of alts here, so less noise makes it easier for CBX to stand out more then when mixed in with a zombie horde of alts

Trade fees also recently reduced to 0.10% and only the coins network/miners fees for withdrawals (no profit taking on your withdrawals), so some opportunities for arbitrage may arise

Not a lot of volume yet on Cryptopia even though my buy orders there are higher than any on Cryptsy. Where are the arbitrage traders???

Can't believe I didn't notice that there's a BTC/CBX pair on Cryptopia! (I will wait a little longer on the UNO/CBX pair.)

And yes, Finite, what BTCat says is true in our experience, so this should be a good time to pick up some CBX.

Yea, don't be fooled. When BTC goes higher there is pressure on the altcoin prices, but at some point they will resist and shoot up as well.
CBX has been pretty strong in these type of moves and I'd say there are some good opportunities to trade.

Cryptopia is really a nice site with lots of features, hopefully volume will grow because it's still very low. They seem to be good guys running it too (ofcourse carefull with your coins).

CBX transactions have never been reversed. That's great.

But why are you sure that they will never be reversed? What if there is an attack?

also how do you decide where and when to implement checkpoints?

Thank you everyone for your votes and participation; I think this is a very good choice because it will make the ownership and staking of CBX even more interesting. Has everyone purchased all Crypto Bullion they want, in order to get the desired amount of staking reward? PoSP is coming to a Vault near you ...

Just sent some BTC to Cryptopia! Anyone trading there? I am impressed with their layout and features... CBX price is pretty tempting too
