You probably heard the sentence: Bulls make money, bears make money but pigs get slaughtered.

A pig investor is somebody who only buys during a rally and does sell too late to realize his profits because he want to have even more profits.
A chicken investor is somebody who avoids getting in all together and waits for cheaper prices, forever.

Meanwhile the bulls have bought long before the pigs got in and the bears close their short long before the chickens have a chance.
Most of the self-proclaimed bulls here are in fact pigs and most of the self-proclaimed bears here are in fact chickens. Most newbies here are either pigs or chickens.
