so i forgot my bustabit password and didnt setup a recovery email (like a retard i know and now learned the hard way)
I created my exactly a week from today, i wrote the password down on a notepad and accidentally deleted it and dont know when. I tried recovering files and just cant find it, I Really really need some help. I deposited 160 usd today and turned it to roughly 650 and go to cashout my heart sinks to my stomach when i realize i dont have my password saved. Im 18, im young so this money is pretty helpful for me right now lol. Ive tried for hours and tried contacting support and showed lots of proof of ownership by proving my IP and my isp, and sent screenshots of my emails of previous btc deposits to that account

How did you deposit the $160 into bustabit? Did you do it from a personal wallet like a Trezor or did you do it from another casino or some exchange?

Your situation is very tricky and the easiest solution to prevent fraud is usually when this happens they just send back the funds to the source address. If you made a deposit from an exchange like Coinbase then it gets tricky. Because you can't send it back to that address since it doesn't belong to you and it makes proving ownership more difficult.

Hence why you always need to write down your password in multiple places and always use a recovery email, especially when you have a balance on the account.

You'll probably be alright. Better to contact him via support on bustabit rather than here though.

Devans is a good admin and his support times are pretty good!
I mean if you show him proof and such and he thinks its legit he will help you out, but only if he is sure that you are the legit owner to that account.
There is absolutely nothing we can do as "bystanders".

RHavar, if you really want something like that on bustabit maybe you can build one Cheesy. you know you have the code and you know you have the talent for it as well Cheesy lol. All kidding aside the idea sounds cool, maybe we can also do something like that for the investors as well? That way you get to see who invested how much and the big bankrollers as well, not just the gamblers who wins or loses or wagers etc which we can see in almost all casinos nowadays so it would be cool if bustabit had a most wagered thing like you said but I think who bankrolls the website would be great as well.

Also I would suggest just removing any extra posts this charlatan is posting and just ignore him completely, dude is just a serial scammer and will not stop until he gets all the money he scammed back.

You are missing the bigger issue. You are targeting ONE player because of his suspected actions, when your chat rules SPECIFICALLY SAY "Bustabit does not get involved in trade disputes" and you have said that yourself in chat, MANY TIMES.

You have no right to lock my funds because of where you suspect they came from.

As a self-proclaimed scammer, I'd think you'd be a bit ... harder? Having your funds locked (so you can't try meet chat reqs to scam people) for 30 days (after an explicit warning that it would happen) seems like the ultimate slap on the wrist.

----

On a side note: one thing I really wish bustabit had was a sort of temporal leaderboard. Pretty often I see large changes to the bankroll, and it'd be nice to see where the money went (or came from). Something like the leaderboard except with "1 day" and "1 week" and "1 month" and "all time" would be really cool imo.

Daily and Weekly leader boards are something Daniel should consider, all time leader board is annoying it does not provide enough fresh info without crawling.

Where did I proclaim myself as a scammer? You're going off hearsay from Daniel because I know he has 0 proof of me scamming. Just baseless accusations.

On April 7 I gave you notice via email that you are banned from bustabit and bustadice and that I would lock your accounts for 30 days if you disrespected that ban again:
Quote from: Daniel Evans
Systematically defrauding my players is not welcome. Consequently, you are unwelcome on both bustabit and bustadice. I have hereby given you notice that your accounts will be locked for a period of 30 days if you disrespect your ban and participate in either casino's chat again. I have unlocked your account's ability to withdraw. Do not use either casino again going forwards.

You acknowledged this via email. Since you ignored your ban by creating multiple new accounts I have locked your accounts just like I said I would. You can contact me to unlock the account in 30 days.

EDIT: Let's also take a look at Lotus, your favorite BAB player. He frequently comes to Bustabit with hundreds of thousands of dollars that he's scammed/stolen. Yet you don't lock his accounts? Would that be because with his play-style, he's essentially donating it to your site? You've never ONCE disabled his ability to bet/withdraw/tip. You just mute him and move on.

Well, this is something I never expected, nor something that would EVER happen under previous ownership. Just goes to show how downhill this site has gone.

As of today, Daniel has disabled my ability to Bet, Withdraw and Tip on Bustabit. Now, that would not be an issue if I hadn't just had a friend repay a loan I gave him, TO MY BUSTABIT ACCOUNT.

Essentially bustabit has just stolen about $30 from me. Not a large amount, but its surprising he's that low of a human being to ban me from his service all because of his personal opinion of me.

Risking his reputation over a personal opinion he's got against me. Genius move Daniel!

Ahh that didn't take long. Daniel seems to have blocked my ability to withdraw/tip/bet on my new account. Essentially stealing from me.

I know this is a weird data but the only logical way of actually finding out if more people comes because of corona or if this was a natural number of increases on bustabits side is to actually ask people one by one

It is complete useless thing to find out or to discuss about actually.

Few reasons :

1. It doesnt matter wether all those new signups came because they are staying home due to covid19 or any other reason
2. Number of new signups increase doesnt always means the wagered amount will increase as well

It display week stats not days and you can check in the past months since it is posted.
Oh I didn't realize it was weekly, I assumed it was daily and I made my remarks according to that, now that I am looking at it, its really weekly and dates are weekly as well, that means a lot of changes. Well honestly looking at the weekly ones right now, I can say there was an increasing number even before the pandemic started, from under 2k to over 3k took before the pandemic (maybe it started in some nations but wasn't all around just yet) and it continued that way, hell even during early march it dropped to 2.6k sign ups which shows pandemic may not really be the reason why the numbers went up.

I would say if we take a look at the next 2-3 months and then we take a look at after 6 months to a year, we will see that number probably will continue to go up even after pandemic "ends".
Oh come on, we can't say irrelevant neither can we? I mean sure we can't have a concrete conclusion; we can't just say it is because of corona that there is an increase, but we also can't say that it is not because of it neither.

I know this is a weird data but the only logical way of actually finding out if more people comes because of corona or if this was a natural number of increases on bustabits side is to actually ask people one by one and see if they came in because they are in lockdown or some other reason, since we can't really go around asking 3000+ people every week the reason why they came in, that means we can never really know what the reasoning is. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying you are mistaken, I am just saying we will not know the answer to this.

Thank you for this devans.

You are right, going by the figures you so kindly posted it is inconclusive when trying to make a direct correlation between new members signing up as a direct result of them staying home because of the coronavirus lock down and just a unrelated increase.

It looks like there has been an uptick in signups over the past few months. It's hard to say whether that's due to people staying at home or just variance, though.

I would say that has something to do with people staying at home from looking at only those numbers, however if you show us a longer list that goes back a lot more, we can actually speculate if it was people staying at home or if it was something else, right now we are seeing literally under 2k sign up turning into over 3k people every day, that is almost a double, in some days it is literally double, so that can't really be variance, 100% increase can't be just some swings.

Yet if you show us the past 6 months for example, we could see maybe days that went up and down around those levels and we could actually make a discussion according to that, bigger the data the more variance there should be and there should be some huge days and some bad days which we can take a look at to discuss any further.

Would it be possible to have Dicesites data updated? https://dicesites.com/bustabit

I think devans have nothing to do in Dicesites data to be updated, perhaps you can ask it to NLNico or go in this thread.

I think Devans mentioned that he had to send information to NLNico. I posted there too anyway.
