Although the problem is not big, I got an error same as mentioned when I was looking at the post history of theymos and from where I reached this thread. Bumping the thread to see if only happening to me after a month or so.

It also keeps happening to me this month. I noticed that it happens frequently in the afternoon and I think there are many accounts trying to access the site so I hope its the right explanation.

got the same error,was not able to log in for hours
strangely enough,the downformeoreveryone sites signalled the forum online at the same time
probably cloudflare glitch?(or whatever reverse proxy the site is using)

Just got a internal server error. Code 500.

Took multiple attempts to get through.

It is just a DDS attack since the nunber of online users is huge. It is normal for a forum to experience this kind of issue. I just experienced the same issue but I've just wait a few hours then it is running smoothly now. But I hope the issue will be fix as soon as possible for other users.

I also got this problem for about an hour or two before I get to use the forum now. It seems like I am not the only one experiencing this problem.

I am getting this the whole day and can't really post anymore. I get to connect like just 5 minutes then after than another hour of nothing but "Busy, try again (504).

Kindly fix, I think it is a forum wide problem and there are a lot of people complaining.

I just changed something, maybe that'll help.

If people still get it, please post:

- Exactly the time you saw it.
- The footer of the error message (eg. "504 via master1")
I got 504 via gate24 most likely a minute or two before posting this comment. It seems that this Busy try again page shows frequently these past few days.

Edit:
* Encountered the same error again between 3:19 PM - 3:25 PM forum time
* 504 via gate105 Aug18 10:28 AM
* 504 via gate22.  Aug18 10:40 AM don't know how long it lasts but I was back online at 11:06 AM

I got the same error same time for the last two days but I didn't report it because I thought it was normal to get such errors once in a year or two especially when bitcointalk like bitcoin itself is becoming more popular and serving to millions of people world-wide. Now having seen all of the people reporting the same above me and today itself I'm relaxed there was nothing to worry about  Smiley

Took me 2 hours to get through.

Everything's fine if I keep a tab open for bct.
If I don't I'm fighting with that error code again.

Got the same issue for about 1 hour.I think server where the forum is hosted should be upgraded as it cannot handle anymore all these threads and member posting.The forum is growing more and more,theymos should take in consideration using bigger hosting server.
