if you have knowledge in electronics and multimeter, you can make such upgrade your self. Most probably it done by increasing on 1 or 2 volts of power. Sort of overclocking.

Not sure if the are serious in upgrading or seriously trying to pull in more money before they disapp****
Lot of people have gone ahead with the upgrade it seems.

they shipped 100s 5ghs miners and started shipping SC 60ghs miners too, so things looking much beter.
they also offering chips 100 per order with 50% advance payment and 100 days delivery. They are getting on track slowly. I would say not so many companies will ever come back from where they were 6 months ago.
They need cash flow def, that is why offering upgrades, chips ect.
