Who owns Nimbus?

That is all that needs to be asked... who has a stake in it? Is Josh a part owner? Is BFL or any of their board owners?

Who are Nimbus? What experience do they have in cloud mining? Where are the miners being housed?

1000's of unanswered questions like these might want to make the normal investor raise the red flag because they are associated with BFL. That alone would give any person who knows BFL history to not buy anything from Nimbus especially way over priced cloud mining at $40 Gh/s.

Hey, you're free to waste your time arguing idiotic semantics if you want. But by the same token, the rest of us are free to point and laugh at you for being pedantic dipshits.
BCP, please stop creating extra accounts at BitCoinTalk. Thanks.

Damn, you got me! I'm totally BCP! And we are Satoshi, too.

You always say that? I've read every single post you've ever made on this forums and every other forum on the internet, and you have never once said that before.

My hats off to you then, sir. You clearly have more time to waste than I do. Bravo!

I always find it ironic how often people who claim not to have the time to waste on such insignificant discussions do in fact just that... and then just to add the cherry on top comment about other people wasting their time  Grin.

I've got plenty of time to waste. I just prefer to do it laughing at dipshits. Semantics are fucking boring.

Might as well be entertained by the stupidity of others, I always say.

I believe it all started with this dipshit comment:

I'm trying not to laugh at your stupidity... BFL ain't selling this...

The way I see it is if the ASICs break, Nimbus will have to send it to BFL for RMA, so BFL is simply a reseller of Nibus who is a reseller of BFL.

The way I see it, y'all are arguing about absolutely nothing. Good luck with that.

And thank you for bringing your stellar contribution to the discussion  Grin.

To whomever is reading this thread - all you need to know is this - if you really care about your financial and mental health stay away from anything that BFL touches. They will tell you whatever you want to hear, sell you at a price you're willing to buy and with an ETA that looks within the realm of possibility.

However, if history is any indication you're probably better off giving your money to a charity. Sponsor a child for 10 years with your money, it'll probably make you feel way better than giving it away like this just so you can have the privilege of being insulted later...

So for those reading along Butterfly Labs IS selling Cloud Hashing services on their website that you can buy TODAY and purchase through the BFL shopping cart, click pay, and they will take your money and provide the service.

That's still incorrect. BFL isn't providing the service. Y'all can argue the semantics of the word "sell" all you want, but the service provider is decidedly not BFL.

let me sum it up for you,
You have lost this argument.

BCP: No they aren't.

The Rest of Humanity: YES THEY ARE.

So for those reading along Butterfly Labs IS selling Cloud Hashing services on their website that you can buy TODAY and purchase through the BFL shopping cart, click pay, and they will take your money and provide the service.

BCP is claiming that they are not selling it and that everything you see is an illusion and because he says that BFL is reselling this service that BFL is not selling it.

Don't try and understand it, just pat him on his head and send him home.

Guys, check out the sweet GPU I just bought directly from Sapphire.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202080

Amazing card. But I think I might send it directly back to sapphire to exchange it for the 290x. Although, I fear the package may have been lost in shipping, so I will be contacting Sapphire directly to replace the package that didn't arrive.

http://www.sapphiretech.com/presentation/support/?cid=2&psn=000202&lid=1

Question: Can I order directly from Sapphire? Are you an end-user?
Answer: Unfortunately there is no possibility for end user to order directly at Sapphire Technology. Please contact a online retailer/distributor. You can find a range of retailers here.
Will that retailer RMA that device for you?

Sorry for the delay in responding, been EXTREMELY busy, I had to go to Walmart and buy some Duracell Batteries directly from Duracell, Had to buy some Peaches directly from some farmers, had to buy some oranges directly from some farmers that then had to be made into Simply Orange orange juice. Worst of all I bought a Dell laptop and the graphics card went out, It was an nVidia GPU so I had to send it back directly to TSMC for the RMA (Which was a pain because I had to send it to Dell first which then they, I'm sure, sent it to nVidia for me, and then undoubtedly nVidia sent it back to the fab so TSMC could bust out a new wafer) But that's not the worst part, the worst part is trying to keep track of all the purchases I made, as my Dell laptop I had to buy several chips from Cirrus Logic, a bunch from Texas Instruments, Broadcom, Intel, AMD, That's a lot of direct purchases.

https://products.butterflylabs.com/homepage/nimbus-mining.html

BFL has now started offering Cloud Mining for $40 a GH

Talk among yourselves.

Try not to laugh
I'm trying not to laugh at your stupidity... BFL ain't selling this...

Next you'll be saying TigerDirect is a shill company for selling BFL products.......

Really?  For a genius you can't read to fucking well...  Here let me copy and paste from BFL's website for you so it's a little easier.

Purchase Terms:  NimbusMiner contracts are served by nimbusminer.com.  Butterfly Labs (BF Labs Inc.) acts as the hardware supplier and the retail sales agent for this mining contract product.  Support and service is provided by nimbusminer.com.  NimbusMiner hardware is provided from either off the shelf 65nm products or from NimbusMiner's own 28nm hardware as it comes into service from it's own pre-ordered purchases of Monarch chip production.

BF Labs is absolutely selling this and they spell it out in plain old English so even super intelligent people like yourself can understand it.
ROFL, You highlighted it yourself: RETAIL AGENT.  BFL is doing for Nimbus what Tigerdirect is doing for BFL, acting as a go-between.  BFL didn't set the price, they are just advertising it, yet you and all the other fools are all like "BFL is so stupid for setting this price at 4x what the monarch pricing per GH is".

Contine to play your little word games, you trolls love to twist things that you don't understand.

I'm still laughing at your stupidity!

For someone with a self claimed IQ of 138 (IIRC), you sure have a poor grasp of comprehending written English.  Your posts and general contributions to this forum lead me to believe you're closer in intelligence level to say a retarded donkey than a normal human being let alone genius.
You don't remember correctly, but then again, I don't care.  Let me break this down into kindegarten for you:

1) BFL is not hosting said service
2) BFL is not setting the price on said service

If I were to use YOUR logic, then TigerDirect is owned by BFL since they are offering BFL products.  Or, conversely, BFL is owned by TigerDirect as TigerDirect is selling BFL products.  Have you seen the stupidity of your ways yet?  Nah, didn't think so.

Hey shit for brains feel free to highlight where I suggested, implied or said that BFL was hosting said service or that BFL was setting the price on said service.  I was simply correcting your lie when you said BFL was not SELLING it, which any non retarded person can clearly see they are.
Dude, if you keep mistaking me for your brother, I may get offended.

It's obvious YOUR definition of this and mine differ, and the way you and the others in this thread go on, makes it sound like you hold BFL accountable for the pricing, etc.

Take a look:
Quote
There goes your Monarch's Pre-order money to fund their cloudhashing facility!!!

Wow, they will turn on mining for 4 times the price $40 vs $11 while customers wait for the monarchs are activated and the cheaper cloud mining is activated.  BFL is unscrupulous

So much for them promising to never do something like this.  They could've at least waited for a month or two after their customers Monarch's launched.

BFL has no soul.

This is NOT a BFL product for sale, therefore BFL is not selling it, Nimbus is, BFL is merely facilitating my purchase by acting as a go-between.

If I purchase an airline ticket through a travel agency, I am not buying FROM the agency, I am buying FROM the airline and they are merely facilitating it.  If the airline loses my baggage, I cannot go after the travel agency for it, it's the airlines fault.  Along those same lines, if Nimbus fails at their 'cloud hashing', you cannot hold BFL responsible for being the agent, the fault lies with Nimbus.

Possibly a wealthy investor go suckered into Pre-ordering a ton of gear from BFL.  Then after "two more weeks" they threatened and the solution was to sell the hashing power for them as compensation.  That or one of the bfl principles or their pals are getting their monarchs ahead if everyone else and want to squeeze out as much profit as possible but can't sell them on the open market because otherwise people in line will realize monarchs are out but they still need to wait "two more weeks"

These aren't based off the Monarch line of 28nm, if their website is to be believed. These are listed under the 65nm section which means someone in Florida probably bought all or most of the leftover 65nm line of chips off of BFL. Now, the question you should be asking is: Who is based in Florida who has a cozy relationship with BFL, so much so that BFL is selling their product for them? I know the answer, but I'll let someone else figure that one out. I think Syke will connect the dots. Or maybe PG...
