At some point I will have to decide whether to continue to stay silent for the sake of a certain person I know well who works there or write the novel that I've been planning for the better of the community... Only time will tell I guess, because it's obvious neither they nor their customers can stop themselves due to their greed.
At least start writing it so when that person becomes unemployed it will be ready.

That is crazy expensive. We are specifically excluding BFL from any group buys. They taught me a valuable lesson already once.
Price looks to be a medium-sized premium over BFL's existing 68nm hardware, which (at this point) will not ROI. So I get where they're going with this, but it's definitely not going to be profitable.
Sadly, that won't stop people from buying GHs. Maybe they'll justify it to themselves by calling it a "hobby".
