Software2, ltc GPU miners is definitevely a good idea. 
Laughing at my roommate who gave thousands to BFL half a year ago. Still waiting on those miners. Meanwhile, I'm sitting pretty with ltc GPU miners that I can buy at any retail store.
I assumed Butterfly Labs was like Duke Nukem Forever. You dream about it for years until you finally forget about it and then one day it comes out and you no longer care.

I don't think they manage to ship those machines. If they can build such machines, they use them themselves to mine coins and sell them when mining is unprofitable
