After an in-depth review of the Bitcoin industry in Australia, including our own business, the market, our competitors and the legal landscape, we have decided to temporarily close our doors whilst we work on new and improved offerings. When we re-launch, we will provide our customers with greatly streamlined, faster and more convenient services.

dammmm, I have sold my bitcoins twice so far without any issues for well over $1000 and now that service is closed as I was just about to offload some more from mining...

IS there an alternative service to get funds in AUS bank account without using MTGOX...

LocalBitcoins?

If you're in Melbourne CBD area, I may be looking to make a small ($100) purchase.

Sorry mate I'm in Sydney, unless you want to do bank transfer let me know

I have used Bitinnovate so many times now.

I've used them both to buy coins, and to sell them.

Sometimes I've sold them to fund my credit card and sometimes to buy items elsewhere such as ebay etc. Every time things have gone smoothly, until...

Today the site does not appear to be up at all? I hope this is simply a temporary thing and not some kind of serious attack. Does anyone else have similar issues with the site?

Hope you are back up soon...

Any suggestions on other places I can easily sell 1 coin? I just want some funds deposited to an Australian account for the weekend... just 1 BTC for whatever the Gox rate is at the time... cheers.

edit.

Ok... the site is back up again with the following announcement.

"Our Sell Bitcoins service is currently closed

We are working through some unexpected issues and hope to have it up again soon. We expect to have an update by the middle of June. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. -The Bit Innovate Team, 4 June 2013"

This is what happens to companies that try to play within the law... I'm disappointed they've failed to stand up to the bullies... I half expected Bitinnovate to keel over like everyone else... but was hoping they would put up more of a fight.

Very disappointing... the bureaucrats come in a ruin your business... what do you do? or was it the banks? They are just as bad... oh well... looks like I'll be keeping my bitcoin... spending it at SR or some such thing...

Good bye Bitinnovate... I don't expect you will be back any time soon

I have a quick question. When people send you the funds, do you send the Bitcoins/email as soon as you receive those funds? It's just that I've done two transactions, one was very fast, and the other took a bit longer. What's the reason for this?

Any plans to add service to withdraw directly to NZ bank accounts for New Zealanders?

This is something we are looking into at present.

Purchased 1BTC an hour and a half ago and still haven't received email confirmation or coins. I received both in minutes last time. I hope nothing went wrong.

EDIT: And they're here!

I have used these guys 5 times in the last 6 weeks and have received good service every time. Service seems to actually be getting even faster over time, not that it was slow to begin with.

The commission is high, but the service has justified it for me, so far.

Yeah, they have excellent service, I received my coins within minutes of depositing the cash. So while I'm with you on the tremendous service part, the fees are a little too high for my liking. Next time I want to buy coins I'll probably try buying from a trusted forum member.

You asked and we delivered! For the full month of June 2013 we have reduced our rate by 25%. From 7.9% to 5.9% commission on our Buy Bitcoins service.
