I'm sad to report I made a mistake the the rib eyes you sent by trying to age the meat without the knowledge on how to do so..
I didn't take pics because I didn't think it was a fair representation of the product.  Also the first steak I grilled burned a bit.  So needless to say I messed up with them I did a better job with the 2nd steak but could have been better(overcooked).  I loved the meat an will no doubt be ordering more.  I just want get others interested to go on order with me.  I truly like the quality of beef you offer and would recommend others here give your beef a try.

I'm truly sorry for not doing a fair review of you Ribeye but I'll be sure to post reviews of products I get in future orders.

My first beef is about sold, except for the ground beef. I am taking a young heifer in for processing tomorrow am. Most of my steers are supplemented with some corn. This heifer, however, is only grass and pasture fed. she will be quite lean. If anyone is interested in this please pm me or you can go to the web site and order there. Just specify that you want only grass fed.
none of my animals go to a feed lot. They are all treated humanely and fed on pasture, home grown hay and some are given some corn as well (much of which we grow here).
I am taking in a young bull in later this week. He will have had more corn and , therefore, will likely have more marbling. Beef from both animals will be aged for about 2 weeks. Therefore, the meat will be ready for shipping about 3 weeks from now. If you scroll up a little on the thread you will see my most recently posted prices. Or you can go to www.andelinlivestock.com. If the site shows that we are sold out of what you want , you can still order ahead and indicate in the box where it says address, that you want your order the "next available time" - which should be in about three weeks.
Our first orders will go out April 28, 29.
Thanks.

BTW.  Does anyone have an opinion regarding wrapping of the cuts of beef? Would vacuum wrap be preferred over the old fashioned butcher paper.?

Paul, I also think vacuum sealing is a very good idea.

Hi everyone:

I have decided that I need to lower our pricing significantly.

Paul - I am not 100% sure that you need to lower your prices, the quality of the meet is outstanding.  If you however, want to lower them, I for one will not complain!

Perhaps he is happier doing more volume of sales in crypto? A lower price would induce this.
You are right. I am especially anxious to get my meat out there. I am still open to any suggestions that anyone might have. I have some expertise in  raising cattle but the direct marketing is a learning experience for me.

Vacuum packing would be great! Considering most of these cuts are bound for a freezer this would reduce freezer burn.

I have following this thread and it's reviews. I am very interested in trying this.  Good meat is very hard to Comby in Newfoundland.   Would you be willing to ship to St. John's Newfoundland canada.  If so could your pm me a list of available toes and costs.  I think this a great idea and I hope we see more like this come up.   I myself was thinking of selling lobsters or muscles as they are very good here

Please let me know

Thx

I did some brief research on exporting meat to Canada. It is possible but requires certain steps to go through that make it impractacle for us currently. If there was enough demand, perhaps some time in the future...
thanks for your interest. That would be really cool to market sea food.
We are working on a website: www.andelinlivestock.com. It is very simple right now but on April 7 we will have our first prices posted.
