No way, Ethereum or any coin have no potential to pass btc in market cap. I love to hold Ethereum because many good news outcome about Eth. Today I was reading that 23% of Eth has been staked which means that big whales still believe that Eth is still long term projects in their eyes. Vitalik is working to make it easy mining for Ethereum which will increase the stability and speed of Ethereum.
I think small players could also get profit because it's not necessary to buy whole e to Ethereum. One can invest according to his portfolio. If 50% or 33% invested in Ethereum then it is not bad idea.

These people are focusing on Ethereum and buying more Ethereum nowadays. It's most people's favorite crypto currency as well. It shows how much people like Ethereum and invest in it. People think that the Ethereum block chain is going to have a higher market cap than Bitcoin in the next bull run, and it has the ability to change the entire financial industry. Bitcoin served its purpose, but Ethereum has just so much utility and liquidity on the block chain that it's unstoppable. It would have to be a very drastic problem to eliminate Ethereum from the equation of being the number one block chain in the world.

So true that eth is wise choice for long term investment and i think most of holders and Investors already have eth in theirs wallet. Buying decision of eth is good right now cause market is down now and eth doesn’t has any issue like sec or others. Although market may dump more but if anyone can hold it till next two bull run which may took 4/5 years as op said, then i guess eth will bring horrible benefit for its holder.

I have invested little money on Ethereum last year when the price was low, but am still waiting for the price to drop down to $1000 before I can invest again to stand in a good position to earn big income from my investment, because I believe the price of Ethereum will hit $20,000 in five years time which is my target. There are some signs in the market that made many investors to believed that Ethereum will increase higher than this before the end of this month of August, but it will not reach $4,000 in this month of August which is the target of some holders in this new month. No doubt, I will definitely achieve something good from my altcoins investments because I believe their price will break to a higher level that will help me to achieve massive income soon.

I feel like the most important part is that we are going to end up with something that is a bit more different on the long run. I get that it's not going to be simple, but it will definitely happen one way or another. I guess the most important part is that we are not going to end up with a situation that would be keep going down more and more.

This is why I suggest that if you want to buy something, then you should buy it right now and without waiting for it. That would be a lot better for the long term. It should be something you care about, and if you do care about it then you are going to do better as well, that's what I think is the key to success, do it now and wait for long term and you get all the money you want.

Well, we already know the potentiality of ETH and if we are seeking bigger profit assurance, ETH will always be at the top of my mind. And if we are just spending money and investing in new projects we'd rather make use of it by buying Ethereum instead. Because when the price of Bitcoin will pump, ETH will also move at the same trend which I believe that it was the best option to take aside from having Bitcoin. Perhaps, it was worth waiting for the price surge when we are investing the right coin/project and we can't be tired of waiting knowing that our chances are huge, unlike investing shitcoins.

to be honest eth for safer bet for long term holding like btc, it might be pass btc cap at some point in the future just temporary glimpse for sure
dang i still remember first time mining eth back in october 2015 single tahiti gpu can produce 4eth/day, and dumped everyday to poloniex instead of holding it Grin

All of those are just part of the memories and we can't move it back, so better to work more with how you can buy and hold if you already sold everything that you have before.

But yes, it was like that before where you can buy mining gpu and let your rig earn that coin
for you, not the same anymore and if you have a decent amount of money to spare with ETH
in the long-term chances to make good amount of money is really possible to happen, just hold
and wait.

Even if there will be any progress or not this year, the ultimate target is the bull run that will probably come after the halving even if that is next year, so buying now and holding until then is basically the first option one should think about unless they see a price that is profitable for them before that and they decide to sell the assets and wait for a dip again to buy more, but I wouldn't recommend doing that because we never know if the market will dip again or not.

So basically, if you are buying Ethereum or any other cryptocurrency right now, your first target should be the bull run from here and you shouldn't sell before that so that you can get significant profits from your purchases, otherwise, if you sell early, you might be in profit but it won't be much.

The all time high price for ETH is $4,891 so now is good time to buy them for cheap. There is more then 1000 dapps on the ETH blockchain too.

Despite its flaws there is no doubt that ethereum has gained the trust of many people over the years and that is why it retains its place as the second most powerful and influential coin on this market, so if an investor is already satisfied with the amount of money they have invested in bitcoin then it makes sense that they begin to invest in ethereum, and only once they are satisfied as well with the amount of money they have invested there then they can think about investing in other altcoins.

Make ETH the second option after bitcoin which is the first to be a safe coin.
Although it can be said that nothing is safe in crypto but at least by choosing a solid coin away from the word fraud and that is clearly in BTC and ETH.
About the ETH ecosystem, there is no doubt that now there are many new ecosystems inspired by ETH called L1 and L2 and it has become a buzz but basically based on ETH as a coin that has important value for the future.
