Have bought some ETH last week but i don't know if there will be another progress in the next couple of months but i am not in a hurry because I know that this will take long before making it there or at least next year before it ends again.
There’s big Wall Street money behind it, so I’m sure Ethereum will do well price wise in the future. It will likely closely follow Bitcoin with spot ETFs and will even be a major benefactor in more widespread crypto ETFs. Not to mention if you stake it you can earn a return and when the network gets flooded the issuance goes negative. It has all the makings for large investment returns if all goes well.
I am with that. After it has transitioned from PoW to PoS then that means that it is for richer folks. I do get that somehow if one Bitcoin ETF applications get approved, it's just a matter of time that ETH ETF is about to go next and so on for the other projects.

Yes, it's still promising and there's still more to it. That's why even having lesser ETH on these days, I'm hopeful that I'll be able to make better profit on it in the bull run. 
In fact investors now want to become millionaires quickly which is why they are retiring from old coins and investing in new coins so that they can become millionaires very quickly. Besides, it is collected from their thoughts so we cannot change it even if we want to. In the past year people have become millionaires by investing in new projects so newbies are looking for such opportunities.
can't really consider ethereum as falling under the category of new coins honestly.I just don't think that it still can rise that much either but regardless it's still great investment, so many are utilising the blockchain, meaning if there is even a bullish season coming in, the market capitalisation might rise so fast.

It is true that there is no need to doubt it because for long-term investment Ethereum is a safe choice,
so no need to worry when holding it in the long run,
until now Ethereum is still the king of altcoins.
ETH is still known as the king of alts because of its ranking in the market and despite that many other altcoins that are being said to have better networks, still remain the top choice of the many. I still also hold ETH and they're just a few of it and hoping that in the next bull run, I'll dispose of them and sell them so that I'll get a decent profit. But from there, I will not hold eth anymore as those are like the few ETHs that I'm holding ever since so it is like a make it or break it for me.so no need to worry when holding it in the long run,
until now Ethereum is still the king of altcoins.
In terms of usability, there will be altcoins that will compete with it in the future, but in terms of trust and value that it has gained for itself over all these years, that is irreplaceable for any altcoin no matter how good it is, so Ethereum in my opinion will go a very long way along with Bitcoin.
ethereum is a good long term investment option, apart from btic. and I'm sure all my colleagues here would agree on this. all of this happened not because eth is the best 5 coins, but because the price of eth continues to increase from time to time

You are probably one of the few who speak so disparagingly about the ETH coin and, accordingly, about the Ethereum blockchain. And if we take into account that the work on improving this blockchain is never interrupted, we can conclude that it will be difficult for alternative blockchains to win back a part of the market for themselves.

Of course we can invest in altcoins as long as we can choose quality altcoins. and now the number of altcoins is increasing, but currently the most quality altcoin is ethereum and I agree with your opinion that currently those who are interested can buy Ethereum for a long term investment because soon in 2024 there will be a bitcoin halving, so the price of ethereum has the potential to increase high at the time of the bitcoin halving.
Buying good coins today are ideal and advisable, there's a lot of hype already and if you will just ignore it then you might regret it.ETH is a good coin and still the leading altcoins, in the next Bull run I'm confident that ETH will benefit on this so its a win win decision to buy ETH now.
Big investors are usually coming in during the hype market or the bull run, I expect a new ATH for the top coins.
Ethereum has huge potential and despite great competition it is still a big player on the market. In my opinion, in a few years Ethereum may win the race with Bitcoin. Of course, I am not advocating that you invest all your money in it, but I am sure that Ethereum will occupy the main position in my investment basket.
considering the massive utility that ethereum is having, and its not just some random utility but already proven one in which causes even the ethereum blockchain to be heavily crowded.I think it only make sense to think that it will eventually become massive and might even have the chance to overtake bitcoin in term of market capitalisation in the future.
I just think that ethereum really have the chance and even deserving of that, but then again its bitcoin we're talking about thats heavily invested by large institutional investors.

Everything in crypto is risky but choosing other altcoins over ETH is riskier than I can imagine. In fact, we know that ETH is one of the promising coins and it pumps during the bull season together with Bitcoin. So if you may think that buying today is risky and the price is high so you need to wait to dump before buying, then I would say that choose shitcoins instead as it was cheap.
Looking at effective price of altcoins ETH has not really record a bad history and very soon ETH will hit way bigger and better, if you have sphere money buy plenty of it and allow it to run for five years and watch what the outcome will be. Let's not surprise when ETH will shook the market cap of world trade many will be made billionaires and by then it will be too late for others you didn't buy at all. In shot begins to store all the relevance altcoin and wait for it. Happy Sunday
This is what I hate in most new account here as they are just creating thread and never have a chance to return and stand for what their posting here , actually this seems to be a junk post from accounts that does not really care for what will be the outcome of their advise instead what they only wanted is to gain from the said post.I will still choose buying Bitcoin over ethereum , while there are already some of this coin stays in my wallet for quite a long.

Compare to what will happen in the future, I don't think the price of Ethereum is too high in this period for potential holders to buy Ethereum because the price of Ethereum will definitely hit $5000 next season to allow their long term investors and short term investors to earn something special from their investment. Buy Ethereum at the rate of $2000 and hold like 4 or 5 years before you can sell, I think it will not make you regret for the decision than to make you happy for the Wise decision you took to embraced Ethereum in this season. I don't think, the price of Ethereum will decrease down to $1000 before it will increase higher in the market because the price has already in $2000 which there is a sign that the price will reach $6000 or $7000 in the future. because Ethereum is still at a high price with negative sentiment. The suggestion from experts were to have a diversified investment. It is good to hold ethereum along with bitcoins. The price of ethereum is still low and it have got more to grow. Few cryptocurrencies on the market have got proven track record and ethereum is one among them. This makes it a better choice of investment against many other altcoins.

If a puny person like me wants to answer that then I'd say yes of course. If there is a valuable token after Bitcoin it is ETH. If you look for different projects in the coinmarketcap, you will definitely find ETH among the good projects. Which can give you 50X to 100X returns in future. Maybe many people have already become millionaires with this project.
