My target is around 10$ for ripple and still buying with my daily piggy box.
I hope its going to hit at least 40$ by the end of first quarter of 2018. Ripple is the future of crypto.

You have to believe what you've learned about previous cryptocurrencies, especially about ripples. If you think Ripple is a good place to invest, do it or hodl your ripple don't sell it. Because if you loss your profit or you get profit is not someone else to feel it, but yourself.

We know now Ripple keeps rising, and coinmarketcap the price is already in the $3.79 range close to $ 4. I feel Ripple the price will continue to rise, regardless of the various opinions of people who assume that Ripple is a Bank, but until now i get profit from Ripple.

I have many friends invested in Ripple, and truth is, most of them hodl it, not many trade with it. They feel it will go higher and they would rather hodl and if it crashes it does.

I’m a little bit confused as I’m new to this my friend is making a fortune from ripple but not actually owning any as he is investing in it, is this better then having ripple sitting in a wallet?
XRP is a centralized coin if you want to get profit from it dont hold it for too long as it is controlled by the bankers.
As i understand, there is a max of 100 bln ripples, but with every transaction, that amount 'shrinks' , is it then not so, that in future there are no rpples anymore ? Or is it that the company building the Ripple protocol, OpenCoin, can 'make ripples as they please' ... like fiat 'printing' ?  Roll Eyes

It depends on your skills I don't invest in ripple while is market cap is above $100b. Trading ripple now might be better choice for most.

I think right now, the best thing to do with Ripple is to hold on to it. If you would check the market, Ripple has been increasing, just before from $.5, now it's around $4, since it is just stashed in your wallet, might as well wait for a little longer, until the price up stagnates or stabilizes, after that, you should best get rid of it for profit. I think Ripple is a good investment right now because of the many news regarding its developers plans to pump and boost the coin. Good thing for you that you have some in your wallet.

It's always better to have your coins in a PC Wallet! Rather than trading on forex websites. You will have full control if you have your own wallet and the risks will be much lower!
Every decision has its pros and cons, you may feel comfortable with saving coins in the desktop wallet but there are some people who want to 'quickly' sell and buy to earn a daily profit.

I believe a correction is necessary for a healthy growth. At least back to $3. Ripple price went up over 600x in the past year, amazing! $1,500 invested in January 2017 would make you a millionaire Tongue If only I HODLed!

The question is quit difficult to understant but my own opinion is its better to trade that to buy because you have a chance to recieve back than to buy and risk your money for the not yet confirm investment. But you have your own choice you can do what you want, dont mind some people dectating you on what to do or what to choose. Make sure in trading your money you know what comes you back.

I don't really understand the question, but I'd stay away from Ripple right now.
I think the OP means that a friend once bought ripple when it was cheap and now earned good profit from it, but holds it on an exchange o something. ANyway, the idea is that till you sell your coins for fiat, you might think that you don't really own them, since no 'real' money is still yours. Thus, the question is about whether now is good time to sell ripple. I think that is the profit is about 5x then yes, but it all depends on one's ambitions and plans for the future.
I sold ripple when it was worth $1 and made only 2x profit. Every day I hope it'll fall down so that I can buy some coins, but I find out that it only grew again. What do you guys think? Is now still good time to buy?

maybe soon the ripple will experience a price correction and its price is definitely down. if you want to invest in the long term and buy it right now, I guess his time is not right and his price is still expensive. but you're better off trading, you can buy it when its price goes down and sells it if you feel you have earned a profit.

you can wait while always paying attention to the market to analyze other potential alt.

don't trust what others tell you. no offense to your friend but most of the times people who say they are making a fortune are full of shit Wink

it is possible though. it is a high risk that you can take and make a lot of money if you invest a lot of money. you can see how these altcoins are getting pumped hard to the moon. so if you throw some money into one of the coins that is getting pumped, you make a lot of profit.
XRP went to $3 in a short time from less than 1 and you could have invested $10000 and made it to $30000

but the question is, "are you ready for losing that much when you make a mistake?". and that is the risk of it. your $10000 can turn into $300 just as easily.

It may be hazardous to invest in XRP now, If you are looking forward to invest in XRP then you must wait for its correction, it may result to dump soon.

At the present moment it is not wise to buy Ripple as the coin is pumped too much. It has raised to $3.5 in the past 1 month which is a huge pump in it's price. We should be waiting for a while now to make any investments in it. I don't think investing in it for long term will be a good deal since XRP is an inflationary coin and that makes it depreciable in long term. Trading it will be  a very good deal since it is pumping huge these days. So my recommendation would be to trade it or to hold it for short term.

wait for the dip if you want to buy but keep in mind that Ripple is the most centralized coin on the market.. still has been a great investment if u check 2017 perfomance (good to diversify).

XRP is looking incredibly positive at the moment, but I would definitely recommend not putting all your eggs in one basket.
