I would like to point out that LBC accounts are traded on here quite often, a quick search for crypto thrift account did not yield any results, however I would not doubt that such trades happen. Bitcoin-OTC accounts are more difficult to trade because a bitcoin/GPG key would likely need to be transferred as well, which would put the buyer at risk.

The advantages to buying these kinds of accounts are small (you cannot earn via a signature campaign or receive any special status when you buy an old LBC account). As a result of this the price these accounts will sell for will be low (read: the buyer takes a smaller amount of risk when they try to scam with them).

I am also not sure what impact the OP scamming on here would have on his ability to conduct business on crypto thrift.

I am not saying that the OP is a scammer, or that he purchased the crypto thrift account, however the possibility is there. Assuming that he is able to prove that the crypto thrift account is his then I wouldn't say the OP is a complete newbie, however precautions should still be taken when dealing with him IMO.

I agree with you on this, however my account on cryptothrift, is not only a high rated account, it's the highest rated account on cryptothrift.
The 2nd and 3rd highly rated accounts have a 400+ and 200+ rating, while my account is 760+ rating so it would be a bit stupid to sell such account especially when it has very few benefits for the buyer as you noted.

Furthermore, I'm asking all the buyers here to buy from me through Cryptothrift, in this way, in this way they'd have the escrow benefit and the possibility of rating me there too.

In Collateral I Trust.
Sorry, but trust on other sites doesn't matter here. You must earn the trust here to be trusted in our community. Also, paypal is very easy to chargeback and needs high trust in the person selling the paypal funds.

I disagree. If you can prove your identity from other reputable trading sites like Bitcoin-OTC, LBC, it would help establish at least some credibility for a new user here.

It can to some degree. I believe most of those have some checks and balances in place to ( sort of ) protect their users, no so much here.

Trade is done. So far so good. Was carried out in a very professional way too.
Trusted a newbie. I PM'd you and said I would pay first and agreed to ALL your conditions and only wanted $50 worth of btc (to exchange for litecoins) but you said no. I even said we could do a smaller amount first but you still rejected.  Huh

His choice who he trades with.

@OP I'd be willing to sell at 1:1 + 5% + pp fees + wait period. Ping me if interested.

OP isn't exactly a newbie if ghibly was able to verify that he is the seller "CoinTrade" on cryptothrift which has over 760 positive feedback ratings.

I can do around $ 200 after verifying you are that trader, but my paypal account is in eur so you'll have to pay fx fees on top of the 5%.

We can do if that's fine with you.

Yep, I understand that too.

I'm trying to build links here, but it seems I'm only getting hostile messages Smiley

I'm introducing myself here based on cryptofthift, because I have no other way to show that I'm not just a fake account.

As for Paypal chargebacks, of course I know the risks, however please note that in cryptothrift you can change your positive rating into a negative one anytime you like, in short what I have there is 750+ positive transactions with 0 negative ones (meaning 0 chargeback).

Thank you EcuaMobi for your thoughts.

Yes, I'm a newbie here, but not a newbie on cryptothrift.com
I already posted my feedback there (so no, I'm not saying I'm to be trusted without a proof)

(feel free to contact me there to verify authenticity.)

as for my trades on Cryptothrift, they are ALL: From Paypal to Bitcoin, with 750+ positive feedback, and 0 Negative Feeback.
Been there is Nov-2013

Few clients there advised me to come here, threfore I'm giving it a shot.

Thank you

I'm buying Bitcoin with Paypal.

Rate is 1:1
if the amount is amount is smaller than $50

Rate is 1:1 plus 5%
if the amount is $50 or higher. (for $50 BTC you will receive $52.5)

My maximum one time trade is $200.

If escrow is required, cryptothrift.com has a good escrow system.
If no escrow is needed we can trade directly here.

I will repeat what I said here:

Of course you won't be able to find anyone here willing to sell BTC to a newbie using a reversible payment method. Read this: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/beware-of-paypal-and-other-reversible-transfer-services-14632

Most probably the only requests you'll get will be from scammers asking you to send first. You shouldn't send first to untrusted members and no trusted member should deal with you, not even with escrow. Just don't use PayPal.

Of course it's not enough to say you're trusted to really be trusted. Also your only feedback here appears to be your alt account. I can't be sure it is but it definitely appears so.
