Yes, bitcoin is used by a lot of deep web "shops" for drugs, and many many other bad things, but bitcoin is not for buying drugs.

I think you can do that buying drugs with bitcoin, but in deep web and it's a bit dangerous and yeah you must be an anonymous for the safety of your info.

Things dangerous what you mean? whether it is about getting caught by the authorities? hehe I think the possibility of getting caught by the authorities so even when you're already using bitcoin. Somehow the authorities have their own way to catch people like that. : D better use your bitcoin to a good thing.

Drugs can be bought by any means even exchanged for services so not necessarily be bought by bitcoin or any other currency.
So bitcoin is not the culprit here it is the abuser of the drugs in question that are to blame.

The Bitcoin, the community, it's people do not promote any products or services except theirs.
And drugs or other illegal activities are not theirs.
But it is said in their terms that this technology is peer-to-peer, so yeah, anyone can do anything with bitcoin.

For me i think some buyer of drugs not want to use bitcoin because they always do the transaction by right hand to right hand in exchanging money to drugs, but i think it is possible for the drug lord transaction to avoid money exposure during transaction.

It's correct, to buying bitcoin is not always with the flat payment, bitcoin or another like that, but it's can pay with your service if the seller of drugs is interested in using your service .

the human is giving a lot of contribution in the cases, and can become abusers.

Never bought any drugs, never will. I'm more scared of getting addicted than getting caught, to be honest. Addiction is a horrible thing, I used to have a gambling addiction (you could say that I still do), and it was horrible.

I don't use drugs so I never bought any drugs with bitcoin. Anyway if you want to buy it its very easy. All you need to do is install TOR browser and put the security settings to the highest, make sure javascript is turned off by typing in the address bar -   about:config then javascript.enabled and change it to false. You can now go search for Silk Road 3 which is up and running well. They are selling all kind of drugs there. Just keep in mind there is a high risk of you getting a heart attack as the drugs there are uncontrolled so death is only few steps apart if you use drugs from there. Even if you use it only once.

As much as I hate to say it, I actually hope more people start buying drugs and other things on the darknet with BTC.
(As long as its not child pornography or weapons I have no problem with anything people want to buy with Bitcoins.)
It means that more people will buy coins and the price will go up.
Sorry but I'm greedy and want my investment to be worth more lol.  Roll Eyes

Anyways, drugs should be legalized.
The "war on drugs" is just a business. The people that started it knew that. They don't want the war to end because they make too much profit.
That's a whole different topic, though.
I'll focus mainly on the later half of your statement;

I think some drugs should be legalized, but not some others. Very basic and recreational drugs like marijuana should probably be legalized just because of the unnecessary amount of incarcerations for it as well as the relative lack of harm it causes. Other drugs like heroin and methamphetamine should not be legalized in my opinion, as those are much harder drugs with more dangerous consequences. But yes, the war on drugs is just a business for some people, and for the drug distributors they're making more than they would have before. It kind of goes both ways.
The thing is, those drugs are worth what they're worth right now directly because they are illegal.
Legalizing them would mean lower value of those drugs and we can probably implement a better control of supply/management on it.

However, I am in no way suggesting to do that, as I am only stating the possible effects of doing so.

I will agree with you that some drugs should be legal, I believe we should be free to ingest whatever substances we want. But where do you draw the line? I have seen marijuana users that are so heavily into it that it affects their lives like a drinking problem, and I have seen cocaine users you wouldn't suspect because they behave 'normally'. What's good for the goose isn't always good for the gander. If you permit one substance, you give to permit them all. And some substances can enslave a person's will too quickly (heroin, crack, meth). So, mayhap it better that drugs are illegal; you still have the choice to participate, just at your own peril.
I actually agree with a lot of what you're saying; and maybe you're on to something with the last bit of your statement. Keep drugs illegal with the only penalty being voiding medical bills for issues that arise out of drug use? Maybe not the best thing but there isn't really a point in helping addicts with the medical bills unless they sober up, because they'll more than likely do it again and it costs the system more. Unless they enter rehab or something? I'm just throwing out ideas.

I think this is illegal and against the law. buy a bitcoin prohibited items to be called an act that is not commendable. let's use bitcoin for something useful !!
many things that prohibits the purchase of drugs. it is strictly prohibited and bad for the younger generation. I as a person who teaches children at school found drugs is one of the most dangerous component for development. !!
I also believe that , and just lucky in our country we have a new president who declared an all our war against drugs. But I don't know if buying drugs in bitcoin can be trace by the officials. I am pretty sure they will be having a hard time to track the syndicate down.

I agree completely. I don't even really care if they buy very bad things with Bitcoin. They're going to buy them with something anyway and I'm not in charge of catching them. If law enforcement is doing something more than sitting around with their thumbs up their ass then the bad guys will be caught anyway. We may as well profit while their waiting to get caught.
