This article reminds me of the so-called analysts on TV that are paid like 50-100 EUR to come there and talk shit about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.Where I live now in Albania I have seen a lot of stupid claims regarding Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general. There has also been some arrests because the persons did the crime of stealing electric energy but the prosecution office also added to the accusations blasphemy like "Cybernetic Crime" "Factory that produce cryptocurrencies" and a lot of other nonsense which in any case were not true.

Bitcoin will forever be worth because nothing can stop bitcoin. Even if some countries ban bitcoin, bitcoin will still exist. As long as there is an internet network in this world. Just so you know bitcoin has been recognized as a commodity like gold. So bitcoin is like gold, but digital gold.

Terrorism? Are you sure you wanted to write this particular word? It seems to me that this word is most inappropriate in relation to cryptocurrencies.
It's not even remotely related to cryptocurrency because these terrorists that OP is mentioning I assume are all out of touch with technology so there's a really low chance that they are going to use cryptocurrencies to fund their operations plus, fiat works for them really well because it's untraceable and it doesn't leave any paper trail and their gun supplier wants those guns get paid in something that the arms dealer can see and touch.

bye bitcoin, very scary and scary sentence, that's how people hate bitcoin, when they can't control bitcoin, they will do anything to bring bitcoin down, including saying inappropriate words, I feel bitcoin has gone through all the challenges, and people those who have played and know bitcoin for a long time, of course, whatever sycophants post about bitcoin, I'm sure they won't care..
For those who have known bitcoin seriously, things like this won't be a big issue anymore because we have seen already news related to this even before. And banning of bitcoin will not be the best solution since it will only attract more people to get into bitcoin and this is really inevitable.

This article has even made no difference at all and leaves no impact not just for bitcoiners but even to those non-bitcoiners. So bye bye for bitcoin will no longer happen today, not even in the near future. Instead, bitcoin adoption is already waving.

Some people thought it but its not prove it. i think bitcoin is very perfect tool for terrorist funding anybody cant trace it easily. but now a days bitcoin grow very high............
Dude, FBI loves criminals who use bitcoin to fund or have their money move, because there's a public ledger that they can use to trace the movement and match it with the IP of the potential suspect. So no, it's not a fun thing to use when you are a criminal.

From the article: "I’ve never quite understood why cryptocurrencies are worth anything. Of course, the untraceable payments are worth a lot to ransomware hackers, cyber criminals and money launderers."

Just from reading the first 2 sentences alone from that article, you'd immediately realize you're about to read pure crap.

It’s an article written by a nocoiner-troll. I bolded the part of the sentence that precisely shows that Bitcoin HAS value. That part of the sentence is true. Why? Because its value proposition is from being censorship-resistant, its openess, and by making users become more self-sovereign. Criminals, or not criminals, the Honey-badger don’t care. Cool

Nothing is important on that article.. Tbh a bunch of ads,  and base on what i noticed is it's full of nonsense words and only negative thoughts like newbies. Lmao  well bro maybe your promoting that site just want to get some visitors for visibility? Coz i saw people doing the same way here in forum. And most of them using a good content but a totally crap sites like yours.
Of course there's nothing important in article, that's why I am posting it to share it with you people that there are still people out there that still thinks like this. Also, what kind of dumbass are you that you don't have a good or even an average reading comprehension? Didn't you read my OP? I said that I found it on Google news plus I am not a dumbass like you who shills with an account in this forum that doesn't have a taint of being a shill.

When there so many bad news appear the best thing i can do is avoid all of that because when i read all about that bad news it very make me stress and not healthy for my mentality. So if i see all of my investment going down because of that news, i just stay away and don't want to check my portofolio.
Well what if that bad news can help you make some money by subscribing and following it's development in the story? That would be a totally different story. I agree it's good for your mental health not hearing negative news but isn't there a thing such as a positive or negative news because in the eyes of the people who deliver the news, they're just saying what's the truth and what they're saying, it's up to us how we interpret the news. But this article is an exemption because it's not a news article or anything, it's an amalgamation of FUDs being thrown at bitcoin for years.

actually what im doing everytime i encounter something like this? i blocked the site if there is a chance and i blocked also the person involved from all social media .

in that way i can pretend from becoming tormented by those words they gonna deliver and this is the practical way if we are really believing in crypto.

I should've listened and now I regret wasting my time, reading an article written by a one-sided clown [SMH].

I didnt read it, I saw BY ROBERT A. MANNING, OPINION CONTRIBUTOR

Cheap Journalism, Robert A Manning obviously has his audience and knows what
they want to hear, he has taken a side but from the comments here its not our
side. I'm taking it that there is nothing new in the article he's just filling a column.

This article is another piece of trash which resides under the pile of such articles written by some who have no knowledge of cryptocurrency and bitcoin and only wants to show off.The author claimed that you only have to convince people it has value but in actual the value is determined by demand and supply curve which he might be ignoring.

Another Central bank puppet claiming that CDBC will counter btc and federal reserve needs to make such currencies but in actual how much financial debt is on countries and hyper inflation can cause economic collapse and these CDBC cannot counter it.So you don't need to respond or give attention to such article and move with your life of bitcoin.

Obviously some people have not done their research. Do they realize that many governments and people in the past have already tried to ban Bitcoin? I mean, go ahead and ban it. If people can overcome censorship from internet and great wall of china, then what makes you think people can't find a way to access Bitcoin on their own?

All the tools are out there, anyone can access. That's the beauty of Bitcoin.

Yes, that's true, sometimes I am surprised that many people still waste their time reading articles that actually want to weaken our beliefs, news that are not so important for us to read.
Let's water ourselves not to listen to hoax news which tends to make us worse off.

Haters gonna hate and they will try to lure people (who believe in bitcoin) to leave or stay away from bitcoin and any other cryptos. There must be some group of people who are affected negatively with the existence of bitcoin, that's why these group of people try to spread FUD, Hoax or negative views about bitcoin. The only thing we can do is to ignore these kind of news, simple as that.
right, by spreading negative news, of course, they hope the bitcoin price will drop drastically, and there they can take advantage by buying at a low price. but unfortunately at this time there are many bitcoiners who already understand market patterns, so news like this I don't think can have a big effect on bitcoiner psychology at this time

...//...:
I tried to read a bit further into the article but all I've read was just pure blasphemy on bitcoin and most of the claims can easily be countered in an argument.
...//...:
?
You tried to read the article a little more, seriously! We come to comment on bitcoin in this thread or is it about the lies they write on the internet to gain views on the bitcoin topic.

It is obvious that discussion is generated but we become part of the evil cycle of those who make poor articles like that.

Fiat currency has government backing which involves the masses as well while crypto currency is sole dependent on it's investors what the next man is willing to offer. Since both parties involves people generally then it's really difficult for government to impose a ban on investors. The can only pose a treat whose effect will still depend on the reactions from the investors. News move the market but the manner to which people react to those news is what actually causes the spike so it's now on the investors to choose what fate lies for BITCOIN

I opened my phone and turned on the Internet connection in it and I was bombarded by notifications, Gmail spams, Facebook notifications, Messenger chats and others but one thing that piqued my interest was this article in Google News. It talks about how bitcoin should be banned or something, I tried to read the whole article but I feel like it's just a rant about how bitcoin is worthless and the value of it is based on faith in reality it's the same as fiat, it's just that it's backed by the government that's why it has value, I mean if you go back to bronze age and you ask for a blacksmith to make you a sword and you pay the blacksmith a piece of paper telling the blacksmith that it has value, the blacksmith would probably laugh at you and just give you the sword for free since you aren't right on the head.

Here's the link to that article: https://thehill.com/opinion/cybersecurity/564696-bye-bye-bitcoin-time-to-ban-crypto-currencies
Why bothering yourself with crap like this? the very beginning that you start reading and you know what crypto is then you have already have a clue what shit is this all about.

you have been in this forum for years and you have known bitcoin for long yet you spend your precious time reading this?
and the saddest part is? you even care to share this BS link here in forum?

that is nonsense mate and please distance yourself from things like that or else next time you will become a FUD spreader .
